(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 4 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. An Xiujia's Son Arrested
2. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yuanmei Arrested

4. [Yuanqu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Ji Fenghua and Mr. Li Chenglong Sentenced to Lengthy Prison Terms

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. An Xiujia's Non-Practitioner Son Arrested
Ms. An Xiujia's son was arrested on the evening of August 26, 2013 when he posted information about Falun Gong online at an Internet cafe in Dalianwan. The police ransacked Ms. An's home and confiscated a computer and a printer among other personal belongings.
2. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yuanmei Arrested
Ms. Li Yuanmei was recently arrested when she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong in Mati Village, Caiyuan Township. Huandian Police Station head, Li Hongwei, made the arrest.
3. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Jing and Ma Qing Arrested
Ms. Li Jing, a glasses shop owner in Xinghua Road, and Ms. Ma Qing were arrested on August 26, 2013. Ms. Li was released that same night, but Ms. Ma's whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Yuanqu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Ji Fenghua and Mr. Li Chenglong Sentenced to Lengthy Prison Terms
Ms. Ji Fenghua from Yuanqu County and Mr. Li Chenglong from Wenxi County were arrested in March 2011, and have been held in the Yanhu District Detention Center for more than three years. The two practitioners were each sentenced to 13 years in prison at Yanhu District Court in late June 2013.
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Deng Liping Arrested
Mr. Deng Liping was arrested on August 22, 2013.
