(Minghui.org) For many years, Falun Gong practitioners in Houston, Texas have been clarifying the truth and collecting signatures to help stop the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crime of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned in the persecution of Falun Gong. Through the practitioners' ongoing efforts, many people have come to learn about the situation in China and have shown their support in calling for an end to the CCP's atrocities.
“China is certain to wake up!”
Recently, a Chinese man surnamed Zhou stopped to talk to a practitioner about organ harvesting in China. “I know more about it than you do,” he said confidently. “I have a friend who is the head of an armed police hospital. He told me in confidence, 'Every day, I see so many organs being harvested from innocent people!'
“The CCP has managed to maintain tight control over the country by staging numerous political campaigns, such as the Great Leap Forward, which led to a great famine in which countless people died of hunger, and the Cultural Revolution, in which millions of Chinese were killed or maimed in violent struggles.
“The Party's crimes are countless, yet it uses catchy slogans to trick people into thinking that it is somehow 'glorious and great.' Now that the corruption in China is ubiquitous, everyone is complaining. When the regime finally collapses, China is certain to wake up!”
The practitioners talked to Mr. Zhou about some of the other crimes that the Party has committed. “You are a very kind group of people and are doing something great,” said Mr. Zhou. “Thank you very much for all of your hard work!”
Chinese Tourist: “Everyone knows what the Party has done”
A woman from mainland China stopped by the practitioners' information booth and told a practitioner that she spends the majority of the year in China. “Everyone knows what the Party has done,” she said. “With so many corrupt officials in China, it is inevitable that the CCP will collapse.
“I know about Falun Gong and have seen police officers in China forcibly arresting practitioners. The information that you are making available about live organ harvesting is great. It is very important.”
She took a photo of one of the practitioners' organ harvesting display boards and said, “I will email this to some people back home to help them realize the true nature of the Communist Party!”
Supporting Falun Gong
A man named Allen told the practitioners that he pays close attention to human rights issues around the world.
One day, a friend of his called, saying, “Allen, I just saw some Falun Gong practitioners rallying in front of the Chinese consulate in Houston and I signed a petition supporting an end to the Chinese Party's practice of forced organ harvesting. I wish you could be here and sign the petition, too!”
Allen asked his friend if he could pass the phone to one of the practitioners at the booth so that he could learn more about the situation. He also gave the practitioner his address.
The next day, the practitioner whom Allen had spoken to dropped off some informational materials for him. After the practitioner introduced Falun Gong to him, Allen signed the petition and said that he would like to learn Falun Gong.
