(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 5 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Lingwu City, Ningxia Province] Mr. Zhao Shouguo Died after Being Threatened and Harassed

Mr. Zhao Shouguo, in his 80s, was harassed and threatened by officers from the Lingwu City Police Department in late August 2014. The police ransacked his home. Mr. Zhao died in September.

His wife died in 2013 following repeated harassment by the police.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiaoxia Arrested

Ms. Li Xiaoxia was arrested on October 8, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Officers from the Yuhe Police Station ransacked her home.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Xiaoxia Detained

Ms. Li Xiaoxia from Harbin City was arrested by officers from the local district police station on October 8, 2014. She was placed in criminal detention and held at a detention center.

4. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Huiying Detained

Ms. Liu Huiying and her non-practitioner husband were arrested at home by officers from the Dandong City Domestic Security Division, Dandong City Police Department, and Jingjiqu Police Department in Dagushan at noon on October 8, 2014.

The police ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, and personal items.

They were taken to the Jingjiqu Police Department in Dagushan. Her husband was released that afternoon.

5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Daxiu and Ms. Tian Biying Arrested

Ms. Liu Daxiu, 70, and Ms. Tian Biying, 47, were arrested by officers from the Fuyuanlu Police Station on the morning of October 8, 2014, for posting informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Liu was released that afternoon and Ms. Tian is still being held.

6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yao Chunyan Transferred to Jilin City Brainwashing Center

Ms. Yao Chunyan was transferred to the Jilin City Brainwashing Center after being held for 15 days.

7. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zong Hua Detained

Ms. Zong Hua was arrested by officers from the Zhongshanling Police Station on September 30, 2014. She is being held at the Shifosi Detention Center.
