Additional Persecution News from China – November 26, 2014 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 17 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Fengxian Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengxiang from Ninghe County was arrested on the afternoon of November 23, 2014 for talking to the public about the persecution of Falun Gong. Police ransacked her home. She was released that night after police extorted 5,000 yuan from her family.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Zhanrong Facing Trial

Ms. Meng Zhanrong is facing trial at Daxing Court on November 26, 2014.

3. [Weiyuan County, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Secretly Put on Trial

Mr. Huang Shengkui, Mr. Liu Jianping, Ms. Wu Xiurong, and Ms. Liu Cuirong were arrested on July 5-6, 2014. They are being held in the Weiyuan County Detention Center. Their families were notified on November 25 that all four practitioners were tried on November 24, but no sentences have yet been handed down.

4. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Feng Jiaqiong Arrested

Ms. Feng Jiaqiong, 65, and Asi, in his 50s, from Jiangcheng District were arrested on November 22, 2014 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Pinggang Drug Rehabilitation Center (a euphemism for a brainwashing center).

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Suxia Sentenced to Prison

It was reported that Ms. Zhang Suxia was sentenced to four years in prison.

6. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuying Detained

Ms. Wang Xiuying and another practitioner from Xiaodian Village, Changzhi Town, were arrested on September 12, 2014 for talking to the public about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held at the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City.

7. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Mr. Ding Wenqing Forced to Leave Home

Mr. Ding Wenqing from the Yingzhou District was arrested by officers from the Wangdian Police Station on November 16, 2014. The police took him to his home, where they seized many of his personal belongings but didn't take Mr. Ding with them. However, the police continued to harass him at his home. Mr. Ding was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.

8. [Lipu County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Ms. Chen Yifei Put on Trial

Ms. Chen Yifei was put on trial on the morning of November 25, 2014. No sentence has yet been handed down.

9. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wu Yuexia Living Under Surveillance; Other Practitioners Detained

Ms. Wu Yuexia was put under home surveillance on November 21, 2014.

Ms. Tan Yulin returned home on medical parole.

Ms. Zhang Liyan, Ms. Wang Yuzhi, Mr. Wang Dongsheng, Ms. Shan Jinli, and Ms. Guo Hongxia remain in custody.

10. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zeng Huaiyu Arrested

Ms. Zeng Huaiyi was arrested in Liaoyuan City on November 24, 2014.

11. [Mengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Feng Haichuan Harassed by Police, Home Ransacked

The police ransacked Mr. Feng Haichuan's home in Fanzhuang Village, Zhaohe Town on November 21, 2014 for his talking to the public about the persecution of Falun Gong.
