(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held an “information day” on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Kroepke Platz in Hannover, Germany. Many locals were not strangers to Falun Gong, and large numbers signed the petition to condemn the 15-year persecution in China, especially the Chinese Communist Party's forced organ harvesting from living practitioners.
There were many shoppers in the area and people were also busy with the final preparations for the city's Easter Parade, which also took place that day. The practitioners' “information day,” a common format for Germans to raise awareness on various issues, became a part of this tranquil weekend scene in Hannover.

“China Doesn't Have a Future with the CCP”
A Chinese visitor from the mainland stopped by the practitioners' table and stated, “As long as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) exists for another day, China doesn't have a future!”
Two Taiwanese held the same view: “We understand you and support you.” They also volunteered to take informational materials and copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to distribute to their friends.
Many Easter Parade spectators stopped by the practitioners' booth after the parade. Several said that they were impressed by the peaceful energy of practitioners and many signed the petition upon learning the facts of Falun Gong.
Two German men stood by the booth with flyers in their hands. As a practitioner approached them, one asked, “What does meditation have to do with organ harvesting?”
The practitioner explained the history of Falun Gong, how it was hugely popular in China and how the then head of the CCP Jiang Zemin started the persecution out of personal jealousy. She also explained that the persecution rounded up a lot of healthy practitioners who have since been turned into a huge live organ bank. While it takes years for patients in Western countries to find a matching organ, the average wait time is as short as two weeks in China.
The two men signed the petition calling for an end to the forced organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience in China. One of them, who is a policeman, said sincerely, “I will tell more people about Falun Gong.”
