(Minghui.org) Chinese tourists have been flocking to Europe as they normally do during summer peak season, and as they do, more Falun Dafa practitioners are volunteering to help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Ms. Pan volunteered at a service center in Switzerland, where she registered as many as 50 withdrawals an hour.
“At peak times, several tour buses will arrive at the same time. Over a hundred Chinese tourists would walk by in front of me.” She said, “They usually don't resist the idea of quitting the CCP. After a short conversation, they often agree to it. Occasionally, a person may try to say that the CCP is good, but there are always others that contradict him.”
In order to avoid the risk of being reported to the Communist authorities, many Chinese tourists find covert ways to withdraw from it.
In Rome, one Chinese lady told a westerner Falun Dafa practitioner in English that she wanted to withdraw, so that the other members of her group would not understand what she was doing.
At another Rome tourist site, a Chinese man lowered his voice and said to a service center volunteer, “I agree but I can't nod my head. There are so many eyes watching me. I am afraid one of them may sell me out to the authorities.” The volunteer whispered back to him, “Just say yes if you want to withdraw,” which the man immediately did.
A young man admitted that he was a CCP member to a service center volunteer at Titi Lake in Germany, but then said, “Nowadays nobody believes in the communist ideology any more.”
When he was asked if he wanted to quit the CCP, he glanced around and whispered that his colleagues were nearby. The practitioner whispered back, “I can help you quit the CCP using an alias. You only need to nod to agree.” He nodded and thanked the volunteer. Then he walked away nonchalantly.
Cambridge London, a Chinese tour group, quickly walked by a Falun Dafa practitioner volunteer. One lady deliberately slowed down and fell back a distance from the group. She said to the practitioner, “Can you please help take a photo of me with that background? ” When the practitioner was taking the camera from her, she quickly whispered, “I want to quit the CCP.”
It wasn't unusual for people to split off from their tour group to speak to the volunteers and withdraw from the CCP.
Ms. Zhou, a Falun Dafa practitioner volunteering at a service center in England, described the trend he has experienced:
“In 2008 and 2009, I could help a few hundred Chinese people quit the CCP in a year. In 2010, the number increased to about one thousand a year. After 2012, it has doubled and tripled, to a few thousand a year. Since the beginning of this year, it has become about one thousand a month.”
