Others seemed to agree, with comments such as, "Entertaining and innovative," "spiritually uplifting," and "this felt enriching," offered by enthusiastic audience members. "The judicial system is the last line of defense for social justice," said Chinese president Xi Jinping. How ironic, then, that China's judiciary operates under orders from the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee, directly controlled by the Party's Central Committee (politburo). As one judge put it, "Yes, we’re bandits. So what?"
One of the worst ways Falun Gong practitioners are tortured in this detention center involves fastening them to the ground with chains and force-feeding them.
