(Minghui.org) I have used the following methods to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong since last summer. I think the results have been very good.
Using Cell Phones
I have two cell phones that I use exclusively for clarifying the truth. I store videos, pictures, and MP3 files on them. When I go out in the evenings, I use one phone for automatic dialing to broadcast pre-recorded voice messages that explain how Falun Gong is being persecuted. I use the other phone when I talk to people about the persecution in person.
When I have an opportunity to talk to someone, I play videos and show photos that explain the persecution. People are usually very interested. As the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” Some people understand the right away, but some have been very poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies for decades. Such people do not dare to even express an opinion. However, when I let them view the videos and photos, their attitudes usually soften, which makes it easier to tell them the facts about the situation.
On summer evenings, many people sit outside to enjoy the cool air. This has been an opportunity for me to help many people learn the truth about the persecution. Quite a few have withdrawn from the communist party in this way.
Breaking Through the Firewall
I also store the videos and pictures on my personal mobile phone, along with software to break through the Internet blockade. I use this method primarily for explaining the persecution at work. After showing people the photos, which helps them to quickly understand the facts, I turn on the software and let them see the website that handles withdrawing from the CCP. That way they can see firsthand the overall situation regarding quitting the Party.
Almost everyone I have spoken with at work has agreed to quit the CCP. Of course, because of mobile phone security issues, practitioners may choose not to use their personal mobile phones to do this. Instead, another phone with an altered IMEI can be used, with only the memory card installed, not the phone card.
Useful Images
In my experience, the following three photos have been especially useful in clarifying the truth about the persecution.
The first is a screenshot of the staged self-immolation in Tiananmen Square, in which "Wang Jindong" is sitting there shouting slogans. This allows people to see that the self-immolation was a set-up, since, of all the lies told about Falun Gong, that is one of the most deceptive. When clarifying the truth face-to-face, this is often the first thing people ask about.
The second photo is of a banner that practitioners outside of China display during parades, which reads "Falun Dafa Is the Buddha Fa." For those whose minds are poisoned by the CCP's atheism, if we only say that Falun Dafa is a righteous practice that teaches people to be good, it is not always easy for them to have a clear understanding. However, seeing the banner reading, "Falun Dafa Is the Buddha Fa," often helps convince them that Falun Dafa is good. Many people have a positive view of Buddhism whether or not they are atheist, and seeing this image helps.
For example, when I clarified the truth to a staff member in another department, he refused to think well of Dafa regardless of what I said. When I showed him the photo and he saw "Falun Dafa Is the Buddha Fa" on the banner, he looked startled. He changed his attitude and acknowledged that Falun Dafa teaches people to be kind and do good deeds.
The third photo is an image of the boulder in Guizhou Province with the characters “The Chinese Communist Party Perishes” naturally occurring on it. It is the same image printed on tourist tickets. After I explain it, I talk to them about quitting the Party.
At work, I also connect to the website right away so that they can withdraw after they see the pictures. Almost all agree to quit the CCP.
Only Tools
It is my opinion that if we say only a few words, and just let the people see the videos and photos, we might develop a mentality of reliance on these tools, which is an attachment.
Truth clarification videos and photos are just supplementary to explaining the facts to people. The most important thing is to have strong righteous thoughts.
