Additional Persecution News from China – January 20, 2015 (9 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes persecution that took place in eight cities or counties in five provinces. According to this report, 3 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, at least 23 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Wang Zhengfang was arrested on January 17, 2015. The police went to ransack her home and then arrested her sister Ms. Wang Zhengfen. The two sisters are held at the Gaoliang Town Police Station.

2. [Shouguang, Shandong Province] 16 Practitioners Arrested; 15 Still Detained

Mr. Shi Luwen, Mr. Sun Baoquan, and Ms. Xing Xiaoling went to Shouguang for an experience sharing meeting on the afternoon of January 17, 2015. They were followed and arrested by officers from the Kuiwen District Domestic Security Division in Weifang, Shandong Province.

More Shouguang practitioners were arrested including Mr. Dong Jinfu, Mr. Zhang Baogui, Mr. Fu Lianhua, Ms. Sun Meixiu, Mr. Lao Zhang, Ms. Nan Xiaofu, Mr. Zhu Xiangkuan, Ms. Wang Yueling, Ms. Li Aiju, Ms. Sang Ping, Ms. Li Hong, Mr. Qin, and Mr. Zhu. Mr. Dong was released, but many are still held at the Luocheng Police Station in Shouguang.

3. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] Ms. Cai Shulian Detained

Ms. Cao Shulian went to distribute informational materials about Falun Gong on the morning of January 17, 2015. She was arrested by the local police and taken to the Baishan Detention Center for a 15-day term.

4. [Dezhou, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Gao Guoxiang and Ms. Lao Song (about 60 years old) from Lingcheng District, Dezhou were arrested on the afternoon of January 18, 2015.

5. [Dayi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xian Shuiqin Arrested

Ms. Xian Shuqing was arrested on December 26, 2014.

6. [Hulin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ma Cuizhi Arrested

Ms. Ma Cuizhi from the Yinchun Forestry Bureau was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Yinchun Forestry Bureau on January 18, 2015. She was released that night. Ms. Ma was arrested again the next afternoon.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Huirong Detained

Ms. Liu Huirong from Changping District was arrested when she talked to people about Falun Gong on November 17, 2014. She was taken to the Changping Detention Center. Ms. Liu was transferred to the Dougezhuang No. 1 Detention Center in Chaoyang District on December 25, 2014.

8. [Chongqing] Ms. Zou Hualan Detained

Ms. Zou Hualan from the Changshou District was arrested by officers from the Fengshan Police Station on November 16, 2014. Yang Zhigang, deputy chief of the Luoqi Police Station, transferred her to the Yubei District Detention Center on January 17, 2015.
