(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Lulong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhu Zhiyong and Mr. Liu Mi Sentenced

Mr. Zhu Zhiyong and Mr. Liu Mi, arrested on April 8 and March 7, 2014, respectively, are held at the Lulong County Detention Center. In early December 2014, Mr. Zhu and Mr. Liu were sentenced by the Lulong County Court to a five-year and three-year prison term, respectively.

2. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Guiying Sentenced

Ms. Chen Guiying, 63, was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Linghe Court on September 15, 2014. The Jinzhou City Intermediate Court has recently upheld the original sentence.

3. [Yi'an County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Xiangrong Detained

Ms. Li Xiangrong was arrested at home and taken to the Shenzhenjie Police Station on December 25, 2014. She was taken to the Yi'an County Police Department on the morning of December 26.

4. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhou Yanhuan Detained

Ms. Zhou Yanhuan was arrested and taken to the Heshun Police Station on December 24, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She has been detained at the Nanhai Detention Center since December 25.

5. [Mengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Xu Xiuqing Arrested

Ms. Xu Xiuqing was arrested by officers from the Nanzhuang Town Police Station on December 23, 2014, for distributing table calendars having messages about the persecution of Falun Gong.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Deng Qiuxiang Detained

Ms. Deng Qiuxiang was arrested at home by officers from the Danshuichi Police Station on December 26, 2014. The police confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong and some Falun Gong books. She is currently detained at the same police station.

7. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ma Yanping Detained

Ms. Ma Yanping was arrested by officers from the Jiadong Police Station on December 25, 2014. The police confiscated five cell phones and said that Ms. Ma would be held at a detention center for seven days.

8. [Jianli County, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Deng Meixian, Mr. Zhang Liufa, and Ms. He Benxiang were arrested by officers from the Qipan Town Police Station on the morning of December 26, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Chengmei Detained

Ms. Zhang Chengmei was arrested by officers from the Liming Police Station on December 24, 2014, for distributing table calendars containing messages about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the No. 3 Detention Center for a 15-day detention.

10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Pinjie Arrested

Ms. Li Pinjie was arrested on the afternoon of December 26, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated her computer and Falun Gong books.

11. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Cong Peishui and his wife Ms. Yu Huazhu were arrested and taken to the Shengcaipeixiao Brainwashing Center for several days in December 2014. They are still not home.

Ms. Zhang Xueqin was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center where she was held for four days before she was released.
