(Minghui.org) Queen's Park outside the Ontario Legislative Building in Toronto, Canada, is a popular tourist destination, especially for Chinese tourists. Falun Gong practitioners maintain a regular presence there to talk to them about the benefits of Falun Gong and to raise awareness about the persecution of the practice in China.
They also inform the Chinese tourists about the movement to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and help them see the CCP for what it is in hopes that they will renounce their memberships in its organizations.

Outside the Ontario Legislative Building, practitioners tell tourists the true situation about the persecution of Falun Gong.
These practitioners recently described several such encounters
Practitioner Ms. Zhou met a Chinese tourist who said that he was a mayor. When Ms. Zhou told him about the movement to quit the CCP, he said, “I take money from the Communist Party. If I quit, who will pay me?”
Ms. Zhou answered, “That money doesn't come from the Communist Party. You earned yourself, by doing your work. If you do business, you can also make money. Does that money belong to the Party?”
Ms. Zhou then told him about the recent movement to bring Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP, to justice for his leading role in the persecution of Falun Gong. She advised him not be a scapegoat and risk being implicated when Jiang goes to trial.
"The wise thing to do," she said, "is to renounce your membership in the CCP and dissociate yourself from Jiang and the regime and all the wrong that they have done.
The mayor finally agreed to quit the Party and promised Ms. Zhou, “I understand now. Please rest assured. I will no longer do those bad things [referring to persecuting Falun Gong practitioners] when I get back!”
Ms. Zhou also met with three technicians who were in Toronto for a conference and would return to China the next day. They watched practitioners doing the Falun Gong exercises.
One of them asked Ms. Zhou what benefits she had gained from Falun Gong. Ms. Zhou told them that her illnesses disappeared in less then a week after she decided to practice. Also, her bad temper improved.
After she answered questions from the two others, they all finally understood that the CCP had lied to and deceived them. They quit the Party and its affiliated organizations.
Practitioner Ms. Wang met with a group people in the arts in China. She helped them take photos on the lawn and told them about Falun Gong and the persecution, information that they could not access back in China. Five of them finally agreed to withdraw from the CCP and all its organizations.
