(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Chen Zhenping, 68, and Ms. Lang Dafen, 54, were sentenced to seven and three years in prison, respectively. They were tried by the Nanming District Court in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province in July 2015. Both practitioners are being held in Yang'ai Prison.
Ms. Chen and Ms. Lang were distributing flyers about the persecution of Falun Gong in Nanming District on July 28, 2013 when they were reported to the police. Officers from the Xiaomi Township Police Station arrested them and took them to the Nanming District Detention Center.
Ms. Lang was injected with unknown drugs that caused her to be in a semiconscious state. She was released for medical treatment. Her family took her to a provincial hospital in Guiyang and spent 20,000 yuan for her treatment. She was re-arrested before being sentenced in July.
