(Minghui.org) Several practitioners who are coordinators in our area had a discussion about the wave of lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong. We firmly believe that Jiang must be sued for orchestrating the persecution that has lasted for 16 years, and that all imprisoned practitioners must be immediately released.
We agreed that there are many benefits to suing Jiang. It can help save sentient beings; it can test practitioners' righteous faith in Master and Dafa; it can help root out and eliminate our attachments; we can upgrade our realms; and it also shows our determination to deny the old forces' arrangements.
With this wish to save more sentient beings and stop the persecution, several coordinators wrote criminal complaints using our real names, ID numbers and full addresses. We mailed our complaints to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme People's Court. We later received signed delivery confirmation receipts.
Suing Jiang needs the power of the practitioners' one-body, so we contacted other practitioners and shared our understandings of the importance of suing Jiang. Some practitioners expressed their firm belief that Jiang must be sued and some believed that they would not reach consummation if they did not participate in filing lawsuits. However, others worried that they would be arrested if they filed complaints. Some questioned why human law is needed to sue Jiang when Master controls everything, and some said that they didn't need to file complaints as they had not been persecuted directly.
We realized that some practitioners did not understand the importance of suing Jiang and did not understand the issue from the point of Fa-rectification. We discussed this issue several times with the practitioners in our area. The majority of them came to new understandings and filed criminal complaints against Jiang and received delivery receipts.
However, when human notions surfaced in some practitioners, things did not go smoothly. Some became fearful when they heard of practitioners being harassed by the police when they filed complaints against Jiang. Others were visited by the police or by local officials after mailing their complaints. Some hid their Dafa books and Falun Gong informational materials, and some regretted writing the complaints.
When these things happened they did not look inward to see what might have been wrong on their part, but instead focused on the coordinators. Some spread rumors that the coordinators might not have used their real names when filing their complaints, as the police did not harass them. Such rumors resulted in distrust towards the coordinators.
Some practitioners were taken to a detention center after they filed their complaints against Jiang. Some of them have been released, but others remain incarcerated. These practitioners did not pass the cultivation test in an upright and dignified manner.
Master said:
“If a cultivator can let go of the thought of life and death under any circumstance, evil is sure to be afraid of him. If every student is able to do this, evil will of itself no longer exist. All of you are already aware of the principle of mutual-generation and mutual-inhibition. If you are not afraid, the factor that would make you afraid will cease to exist. There will be trials and tribulations, but anything that occurs during our cultivation is beneficial to our development. It is our path to a divine realm. Passing a test leads to upgrading to a higher level. Otherwise, one will fall down to a lower one.
