(Minghui.org) Mr. Wu Jiangang from Bairin Left Banner in Inner Mongolia was recently arrested after filing a lawsuit against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Wu has suffered illegal arrest and detention as a result of the persecution.
This latest arrest of Mr. Wu followed a police visit to his home one-and-a-half months ago, when he and his wife were questioned about the lawsuit and threatened to stop practicing Falun Gong.
Shi Yuguo, deputy head of Bairin Left Banner Police Department's Domestic Security Office, directed Mr. Wu's arrest. During the operation, Shi showed no arrest warrant nor did he and his two subordinates wear uniforms. He even posed as a different officer. When Mr. Wu's wife recognized Shi and confronted him later, he claimed, “Yes, I did pose as a different person. So what?!”
Mr. Wu remains in detention following his arrest on December 12.
Parents-in-law Confirm Arrest
Mr. Wu and his parents-in-law went to visit a local market fair on December 12, but they never returned home at said time. His wife Ms. Zhao had a hunch that her husband was probably arrested again, as he had been taken into custody multiple times in the past for his belief in Falun Gong.
She immediately set out to the local police stations to look for her family, but the authorities all denied holding her loved ones at their respective departments.
Ms. Zhao's parents returned home later that night and confirmed that they and their son-in-law had been arrested. Shi Yuguo, the arresting officer, dropped off the elderly couple at an unfamiliar place before driving Mr. Wu away. A kind-hearted person helped them find their way back to their daughter's home.
Wife Recognizes Arresting Officer
Ms. Zhao's parents said the arresting officer told them his name was Gao Shujun, but there was no such officer when they went to the Balinzuo Banner Police Department on December 14 to inquire about Mr. Wu's whereabouts. The on-duty guard informed them that Gao Shujun had been transferred to the traffic control division over a year ago.
At that time a man came out of the elevator. Ms. Zhao's mother immediately recognized that he was the driver who took her son-in-law away and claimed to be Gao Shujun.
Ms. Zhao, however, knew him as Shi Yuguo, the deputy head of the Domestic Security Office who once arrested her and her husband.
When she confronted Shi for his identify issue, Shi replied, “I did pose as Gao Shujun. So what?!”
At the time of writing, Ms. Zhao still has no clue as to where her husband is being held.

Background
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law now allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
