Additional Persecution News from China – December 2, 2015 (7 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 34 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 were illegally arrested.

1. [Changzhi County, Shanxi Province] Mr. Chen Xintang Detained

Mr. Chen Xintang was arrested by officers from the Lanshui Township Police Station for distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Lanshui Village on November 5, 2015. She was taken to the County Detention Center.

2. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Yuying Whereabouts Unknown

The whereabouts of Ms. Zhou Yuying is unknown.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Sun Jianxue and Mother Ms. Hu Bohua Arrested and Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Sun Jianxue and his mother Ms. Hu Bohua, from Liulihe Village in the Fangshan District, were arrested at home on November 20 and November 21, 2015, respectively. Their whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Remain in Custody Beyond the End of Their Detention Terms

Officers from the Lingyuan City Domestic Security Division arrested practitioners on a large scale on November 9, 2015.

Ms. Mao Yongchun and Mr. Ma Yanhua are detained in the Lingyuan Detention Center. Ms. Qi Xiaoyan is detained in Chaoyang. The three practitioners remain in custody despite their detention terms had ended.

Mr. Yan Wanyin was arrested on November 11, 2015 for telling people about Falun Gong. He is still held in the Ningcheng Detention Center.

5. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Over 20 Practitioners Arrested, Detained, or Displaced

Officers from the Luoshui Town Police Station showed up at Ms. Chen Wenying's home on October 9, 2015 to question her about the lawsuit she filed against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime. They asked her to come the police station and upon her arrival, they detained her for five days.

By November 25, 2015, 23 practitioners were placed under administrative detention, homes of five practitioners were ransacked, and several became displaced.

Practitioners placed under administrative detention are:Luoshui Town: Ms. Chen Wenying (in her 60s), Ms. Xiao Kaiqun (in her upper 50s), and Ms. Zeng Weijun (in her 40s).

Jiandi Town: Mr. Lu Pinggang, his wife Ms. Zhong Qifen (in her 40s), Ms. Xu Kairong (in her 60s), Ms. Yang Changyan (in her 60s), Ms. Chen Zhongjun (close to 60), Ms. Luo Wencui (in her 40s), and Ms. Hu Juhua (68 years old).

Mazu Town: Ms. Liu Fengyu (in her upper 50s), Ms. Wan Gufen (around 40 years old), Ms. Yang Wenzhi (in her 60s), Ms. Zhou Min (in her upper 50s), Ms. Ning Xingfeng (in her 60s), and Ms. Xue Xiaoyu (in her upper 50s).

Ms. Xiao Ying (in her 50s) and Ms. Wang Jirong (in her 60s). Both are from Yinfeng Town.Ms. Zhang Qinghui, in her 50s, from Yuanshi Town.Mr. Zhou Yubao, nearly 60, from Fangting Town.Ms. Liao Yihui, in her 60s, from Nanquan Town.Mr. Ren Shenglin, in his 60s, from Huilan Town.Ms. Liu Guangqiu, in her 50s, from Majing Town.

6. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Ding Wan from Huzhen Town, Ms. Lou Weili from Xinjian Town, and Ms. Shu Xian were arrested on the morning of November 11, 2015. The three practitioners were detained in the Jinyun County Detention Center for 10 days. It was reported that they were taken to a brainwashing center.

Mr. Zhao Yongyue, from Huzhen Town, and Mr. Lou Guian, from Xinjian Town, were placed under criminal detention in the Jinyun County Detention Center.
