(Minghui.org) My daughter-in-law used to have a negative opinion of Falun Dafa due to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda. However, she gained admiration for Dafa by observing the behavior of two practitioners, me and my husband. She also experienced a miracle, which increased her respect.
My Daughter-in-law Changes in a Positive Environment
My husband and I have practiced Falun Dafa for nearly 20 years. Everything we do in our daily lives is in accordance with the Fa. That means my daughter-in-law experiences a peaceful atmosphere in our family. We get along well with each other, which is usually not the case between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in China. She often tells her family, “My mother-in-law treats me better than my own mother. There isn't any distance between us.”
My daughter-in-law likes to eat fresh food, and she used to throw out leftovers. We talked to her about it from the perspective of Fa principles and let her know that it is not right to waste food. She stopped throwing away the leftovers and even stopped slaughtering animals since she understood that doing so would generate karma. She also told her family not to kill animals.
My daughter-in-law said to me, “I support you in your practice. Do well in your cultivation.” She has contributed money to print materials to inform people about the persecution of Falun Gong and the goodness of the practice.
Safe and Sound after a Car Accident
While my daughter-in-law was driving home one day, a large concrete mixer truck hit her car from behind. Her car slammed into another car and then flipped over.
People walking by were petrified. My daughter-in-law slowly crawled out of the upside down car: besides a few scratches on her forearm, she was uninjured. Bystanders said it was a miracle that she had survived. However, my daughter-in-law knew that it was Master who had saved her life.
Since the accident, her good opinion of Dafa has been even stronger. She often tells her family members and friends how good Dafa is, and she helped them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Her mother has begun to practice Falun Dafa and said that she feels like she is sitting on a cloud when she does the sitting meditation. She can see the Milky Way and many other scenes with her third eye. And my daughter-in-law's brother has begun reading Falun Dafa books.
Four-year-old Blessed by Dafa
My daughter-in-law likes to bring her four-year-old nephew to our home, and she asks the little boy to kowtow in front of Master's picture. Now each time the boy comes to my home, he goes directly to Master's picture and kowtows. One day, the boy's mother took him to the hospital to check on his amblyopia (also called lazy eye: decreased vision due to abnormal visual development during childhood) and found out that his condition is improving.
Everyone in our family enjoys the beautiful life Dafa has brought to us. We thank Master and Dafa from the bottom of our hearts! We hope people throughout China will understand the truth about Falun Dafa and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. That way, they will choose bright futures for themselves.
