(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties In 4 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 32 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Qiu Shanmei in Prison

Ms. Qiu Shanmei from Pingtan Experimental District was sentenced to 4 years in prison. After being issued an enforcement of judgment on January 20, 2015, she was transferred from the Pingtan Detention Center to Fuzhou Women's Prison.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Ye Julan Detained

Ms. Ye Juelan, 67, was arrested by officers from the Changfeng Police Station in the Putuo District. Her home was ransacked. Putuo Police Department authorities took her to the Putuo Detention Center, where she is being held. Ms. Ye's husband went to the center twice and asked to visit his wife but was turned down both times.

Ms. Gao Guoxiang and Ms. Song, both in their 60s, from the Lingcheng District were arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station on January 18, 2015.

Several plainclothes officers arrested elderly practitioner Ms. Gong Xinzhen, who was working at the superstore on January 22, 2015. The owner of the superstore, practitioner Mr. Zhang Jinhai, and his wife, Ms. Zhang Jinfang, were later also arrested.

5. [Chiping County, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Jinrong from Hongtun Town was arrested for explaining the facts about Falun Gong on January 20, 2015. He was taken to the Liangshui Police Station.

Three practitioners including Ms. Xu Jinfeng were arrested at home on January 21, 2015.

Ms. Lu Jinying and Ms. Ma Bing were arrested at home on January 22, 2015.

Officers ransacked their homes and took their Falun Gong books, computers, and cash and debit cards valued at more than 15,000 yuan.

6. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Aiqin Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhou Aiqin, about 70, is retired from the Shengli Oil Fields Electricity Supply Corporation. She was arrested by plainclothes officers on January 15, 2015, for talking about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked, and Ms. Zhou was taken to the brainwashing center set up at the Shenglin Oil Fields Jishu Corporation.

7. [Tianjin] Ms. Ma Cuixian and Her Son Detained

Ms. Ma Cuixian and her son, Mr. Sun Jianyang, from Ninghe County were arrested for calling people to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong on January 21, 2015. About 40 of their cell phones were taken from their car. Their home was ransacked that evening, and their computers, printers, and informational materials about Falun Gong were confiscated. Both mother and son are believed to be held in the Ninghe Detention Center.

8. [Shandong Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested in Shandong Province Since November, 2014

Ms. Yan Hongyan, 40, from Dongzhu Village, Pingyuan County, was arrested by officers from the Pingyuan Police Department on January 15, 2015.

Ms. Lu Meiqin, in her 50s, and Ms. Sun Shuzhen, both from Zibo City, were arrested at home by officers from the Heiwang Police Station on December 6, 2014.

Ms. Zhou Shujie, in her 50s, from Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, was arrested by officers from the Ningjin Police Department on October 29, 2014.

Ms. Ren Shanxi, in her 40s, from Pingyuan County, Dezhou City, was arrested by officers from the Pingyuan Police Department Domestic Security Division on November 24, 2014.

Mr. Wang Rongquan, in his 30s, from Xiajin County, Dezhou City, was arrested by officers from the Xiajin Police Department Domestic Security Division.

Mr. Liu Yicheng, in his 70s, from Huimin County, Binzhou City, was arrested at home by officers from the Madian Police Station.

Ms. Huai Cuiling, 50, from Zouping County, Binzhou City, was arrested by officers from the Jiaoqiao Police Station on November 4, 2014.

9. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Zhengfu Arrested

Mr. Zhao Zhengfu, in his 40s, works at the Measurement Team of the Daqing No. 3 Oil Recovery Factory No.2 Mine. He was arrested by officers from the Daqing Police Department Domestic Security Division on January 13, 2015.

10. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] A Non-Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Chengxia, who is not a practitioner, was arrested for giving people calendars made by Falun Gong practitioners. She was arrested in Qili Township on January 21, 2015, by officers from the Qili Police Station and the Shulan Domestic Security Division.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Yurong and other 7 practitioners from Wukeshu Town were arrested by officers from the Yushu Domestic Security Division on January 21, 2015, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. They may be sent to a detention center.

12. [Cangshan County, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Detained

Six practitioners were arrested by agents from the local 610 Office on January 17, 2015. Ms. Wu Shujuan is being held in the Linyi Detention Center. The other 5 practitioners, including Mr. Xu Qixian, Mr. Liu Wenyuan, Mr. Li Zengpu, and Mr. Meng Fei, are being held in the Cangshan Detention Center.
