(Minghui.org) A large market was held in our area on February 5, 2015. A local elderly Falun Dafa practitioner took this opportunity to tell people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
The practitioner asked a street vendor who was selling peanut cookies for the price of 500 grams (g) of cookies. The vendor said it would cost 2 yuan for 50g. The practitioner mistakenly thought it would be 2 yuan for 500g and asked for 5 yuan worth of cookies.
When the vendor gave him the cookies the practitioner asked why he had given him so few cookies. The vendor said, “How much do you think you can buy with 5 yuan? It's 2 yuan for 50g, 20 yuan for 500g.”
A woman nearby turned to the practitioner and said, “The cookies are very tasty. My husband loves them. It's also helpful to lower blood lipids. I can pay it for you if you don't have the amount needed.” The practitioner said that he practices Falun Dafa and couldn't accept such a friendly gesture.
The vendor heard their conversation and said that he would give the cookies to the practitioner for free, and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!”
Two police officers arrived shortly after. One of them shouted angrily, “What did you say? Come with us.” The vendor questioned them, “Why? What's wrong with shouting Falun Dafa is good?”
One of the officers tried to pull the vendor away from the stall. The vendor turned around and pushed him to the ground. He said, “Do you know that I was a police officer too? I was similar to you, doing whatever the CCP told me to do. Now, I no longer want to do bad things. Which document says that I can't shout Falun Dafa is good? Show me the document.”
The two officers didn't say anything, and left.
