(Minghui.org) I got a job as a gatekeeper in May 2013, after I was released from prison.
Many people come and go through the gate every day, and I felt I must do something to help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
At first, I was a bit unsure about how to go about it and a little concerned about my own safety, thinking, "I am at the gate eight hours a day in a security uniform. If someone reports me, I'll have no place to hide."
As soon as I had that thought, I rectified my mind, knowing that I should base myself righteously and have saving sentient beings as my top priority. I would eliminate any selfish thought and cultivate myself better in the process of saving people.
Helping Passersby Quit the CCP
I approach people passing through the gate whenever possible.
When I see truck drivers unloading goods, I leave the sentry box and start up a conversation, asking if they ever joined the Youth League or Young Pioneers. Most of them say they did, but have nothing to do with them now. I then ask them if they have heard about the movement to quit the Party and explain why it is so important for their own safety and future. In most cases, they agree to quit after hearing my explanation.
I use this approach to talk to other people, too, such as delivery men, maintenance technicians, trash collectors, or anyone else who comes to me for help.
Once a lady was desperately looking for a restroom. I told her where to find one and lent her the key. When she returned, I told her about the importance of quitting the CCP. She agreed to quit and was very grateful for my help.
Some individuals refuse to listen and don't want to quit the CCP.
When I told a representative from another company about the campaign to quit the CCP, he said, “I'm a Party member. How dare you!” I explained that what I was doing was for his own sake and told him to think about it later, and not to miss out on the opportunity to be saved.
I was a bit worried afterward that he might report me. But immediately a righteous thought came to my mind: What I'm doing is the most important and honorable thing in the universe. No one can interfere with it.
Master told us,
“There are two circumstances in which they can't touch a Dafa disciple. One is that he is rock-solid. They don't dare touch him, because they know at that time that if this disciple has taken a righteous path and conducted himself well and someone still dares to persecute him, it doesn't matter that they're the old forces or what the old principles are--I absolutely won't spare them. There are countless righteous Gods by my side, too! And I also have countless Law Bodies who do Fa-rectification. My only concern is that Dafa disciples themselves won't be firm inside; when there's some kind of attachment, some kind of fear, or what not, then the old forces see it and take advantage of the omissions and persecute them. And if a person's righteous thoughts aren't sufficient while he's being persecuted, he will be persecuted even worse. This is always the case." (Touring North America to Teach the Fa )
I always remember this when I explain the facts to people, both when I was in prison and working now as a gatekeeper.
As long as I act righteously, I will be protected by Master, Master's Fashen, and righteous gods. No one can stop me from saving people. All evil elements that dare to control innocent people to persecute me are eliminated!
I keep doing what I should do and am able to help several people quit the CCP organizations every day. One day, nine people agreed to quit.
Helping People in My Own Company Quit the CCP
I've realized that some people are more deceived by the CCP than others, such as Party secretaries, “advanced CCP members,” etc.
To help these people, I try to establish a rapport with them by greeting them warmly and talking to them whenever I can.
Over time they become more friendly and greet me warmly. I then start telling them about the importance of withdrawing from the Party and encouraging them to quit. The results have been good.
One lady always had time for a friendly hello.
When I told her what quitting the Party meant, she agreed straight away with a smile on her face. Later I found out that she is one of the deputy directors of the company.
Within the space of a few months, I helped more than two dozen people in my company quit the CCP organizations.
I did have some trouble with a man who is responsible for support staff, including gatekeepers.
When I felt I knew him well enough, I asked him if he had heard about withdrawing from the Party. He showed little interest and barely responded. The next time I talked with him, I went straight to the point and encouraged him to quit the CCP. He agreed, but hesitantly. He might have told a supervisor about it.
One day, the supervisor came to me and said, “Falun Gong, you'd better be more careful. I'm telling you this for your own good. Don't lose your job over what you are doing.”
I didn't say anything at the time, but in my heart I knew that I would continue to do what I should be doing and continue to save people.
One day I noticed Udumbara flowers in five places on the ceiling of our guard office, 23 of them in one place. I knew that I was doing the right thing and Master was encouraging me.
Tears ran down my face and I said in my heart: "Master, I will do my best to assist you in Fa-rectification and save more people wherever I am, without any consideration for personal loss or gain!"
With a pure heart and Master's protection, I make use of my position as a gatekeeper to save people. Although people I've come across know that I'm a Falun Gong practitioner, no one has ever reported me to the authorities.
