(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa after learning about it on the Internet in 1998. I am truly grateful to be a practitioner, and I thank Teacher Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Dafa) for this opportunity.
After I studied the teachings of Dafa, I made great efforts to talk to my family and relatives about the beauty of cultivation practice and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had defamed the practice. I also clarified the truth to them about the lies initially fabricated by Jiang Zemin, former head of the CCP.
This helped my family to have a correct understanding about Dafa, and they have since made their declarations to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
I would like to share how my family and relatives had good fortune after gaining a better understanding of Falun Dafa.
My Aunt's Tumor Disappeared
Both my uncle and aunt make a living by collecting and selling recyclables. One time, my aunt's stomach hurt, and when she went to get an x-ray, the doctor discovered a tumor. The hospitalization costs in big cities are very high, so she had to seek treatment at the county hospital.
Her surgery was scheduled during my summer vacation, so I took that time to visit them and talk about Falun Dafa. They were both willing to withdraw from the CCP. I told my aunt: “Please recite “Falun Dafa is wonderful. As long as you are sincere, you'll see miracles happening to you.”
She did not believe me at first. But at night, when she had terrible stomach pains and could no longer stand it, she began to recite “Falun Dafa is wonderful; Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful.”
On the day before her operation, the doctor the discovered that the tumor had disappeared. My uncle and aunt were overjoyed and brought me a lot of gifts to express their gratitude.
“It's not me,” I said. “My Teacher did everything for you. Please thank our Teacher instead.”
When they were leaving, I kept urging them, “Please remember to recite Falun Dafa is wonderful and Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful often.”
“Don't worry, we will never forget,” they chimed back.
My Uncle Became Paralyzed, Then Quickly Recovers
Another uncle of mine suffered from a stroke. He was hospitalized for a period, but upon discharge, he lost mobility on the left side of his body. He had to rely on a walker to get around. It was a very traumatic experience for him.
I then clarified the facts to him and helped him submit the three withdrawals from the CCP. I also gave him a hand-written copy of Hong Yin and said, “If you recite Falun Dafa is wonderful in you heart, you will see an amazing effect.”
My uncle believes that Falun Dafa is good. “Even the secretary of the CCP county committee practices Falun Gong,” he said. “So Falun Dafa has to be good.”
Since then, he has been reciting “Falun Dafa is wonderful” every day. Soon enough, within two weeks he got rid of his walker. After a while, he completely recovered. He now resides in a big city and has taken on contractual work.
Grandma's Osteonecrosis Heals
My grandma lives in poverty, and as a result, she has earned little respect from others. A few years ago, a goat bumped into her by accident, causing her to fall. After falling, she could not move. The doctor said that if she was willing to spend tens of thousands of yuan for surgery on her femur, she would be healed.
There was no way for her to come up with the money. During my spring break, I went to visit and tell her about the wonders of Falun Dafa. I also asked her to recite as often as possible “Falun Dafa is wonderful; Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful!” as that would certainly help her leg. Though she is illiterate and does not understand many things, she was very happy to receive my encouragement. She agreed to follow my request.
After I returned to school, I called my mom, and she announced that my aunt's leg was healed. “She can walk freely everyday in the village,” she said, “and even feels more strength than before!”
My Dad's Liver Tumor Disappears
My dad is kind by nature. He has been supportive of my practice and agreed to do the three withdrawals from the CCP long ago. But he was always concerned about my safety and afraid that I would be arrested when I went out to tell people about Falun Dafa.
During a medical exam, his doctor told him that he had developed a blood tumor in his liver. A second X-ray then revealed a second tumor, which had grown very big. Needless to say, he became very worried.
I reminded him not to forget to recite “Falun Dafa is wonderful.” He mentioned that he had been reciting it, but it had not helped. I then asked him to read the Dafa books, so he read Zhuan Falun and listened to recordings of Teacher Li's lectures at night.
A few weeks later, he went for another X-ray. The doctor said that the bigger tumor had disappeared, whereas the smaller one had shrunken considerably. My dad was elated and came to understand Teacher's saving grace so much more.
I would like to thank Teacher and Dafa for these wonderful miracles. Only practitioners know the true meaning behind such stories. Cultivation is so profound!
