(Minghui.org)I have been persistent in group Fa study, reciting the Fa, and strengthening my righteous thoughts over the past year, because I am certain that this is an important responsibility and supports the mission of Falun Dafa practitioners. The world and especially the Chinese people, need to know the facts about Dafa. Therefore, it has become part of my daily life, be it at work, home or during social activities.
Taking Every Opportunity to Talk about Dafa
I make many trips to Southern China to attend exhibitions or for business. These trips give me an excellent opportunity to tell people about Falun Dafa.
Before I begin my trip, I send forth righteous thoughts and ask that Master strengthen them, so I can eliminate any interference that prevents people from learning the facts about Dafa.
For example, a young woman sat next to me on the airplane. She was employed by a television station and knew about social injustices. We talked about corruption and immoral behavior and the reason for them, which is atheism advanced by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I told her that I believe that if people do not have faith, humanity will face catastrophes.
The woman agreed with me and asked how I knew so much. I took a chance and told her that I read Zhuan Falun, which is the main book of Falun Dafa. I said that this book has been translated in over 30 languages, and that Falun Dafa is practiced in more than 100 countries. It improves people's moral standard and one will understand a lot after reading it.
I explained about the persecution of Falun Dafa and why it is banned in China and its practitioners persecuted. I helped her understand that those who participate in the persecution will be punished by heaven. I wanted her to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, so I said that anyone who is a member when the Party is eliminated will suffer the same fate. She agreed to quit.
Heart Filled with Compassion
I went to the exhibition hall the next day and immediately sent righteous thoughts on arrival, “All of those present, you came to earth for the Fa. Please remember that Falun Dafa is good and Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” My heart was filled with compassion.
In the exhibition hall I took every opportunity to tell those there the facts about Dafa and asked them to quit the CCP. I posted stickers with Dafa information at bus stops, as well as on electric poles or billboards in the evening. It was as if I was the only person on the streets.
Helping Former Practitioners and Those That Slacked Off
I met some people who were former practitioners and others that had slacked off. I knew that Master was waiting for them to practice Dafa again, or cultivate in earnest. I tried to be more patient with them.
For example, in a supermarket, I learned that a shop assistant was a former practitioner. At the onset of the persecution, she lost contact with other practitioners and thus had not gotten many of Master's articles. She said that there were many locals that were just like her. I gave her many Dafa informational materials, CDs, and an MP3 player and thought about organizing a group study. Since no one was in the company after work hours, I invited her once a week to study the Fa with me.
She brought to the group study two fellow practitioners. One of them had written the so-called guaranteed statement renouncing Falun Dafa in 2005 when she was persecuted. She learned from me the importance of writing a solemn declaration to void her statement and to quit the CCP.
She was moved and regretted very much that she had not practiced Dafa for about nine years. From that day forward she did everything she could to catch up with other practitioners. She told her classmates, colleagues, friends and neighbors about Dafa and helped them to quit the CCP.
Answering Important Questions
During a lunch break, I distributed anti-censorship software, called Freegate. When I handed it to a young man and told him that he could use it to confirm from overseas websites what practitioners told him, such as about corruption and disasters in China, he asked whether Falun Dafa was involved in politics and many other questions.
I gained his trust and he told me that he had practiced Dafa with his father before the persecution began in 1999. After the onset of the persecution, his father gave up the practice and also prevented him from practicing it. He felt miserable, because he did not want to give up Dafa. Therefore, he studied Zhuan Falun at home.
He did not understand about sending righteous thoughts and talking to people about Dafa because he only had Zhuan Falun. He did not believe what was published on the Minghui website, and rejected all of Master's later articles. He thought Dafa had gone astray and was involved in politics. I suggested that he study Master's latest lectures, read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the book Dissolving the Communist Culture. I met with him again, provided him with Dafa materials and encouraged him to read the materials, so he would understand the issues that developed after the onset of the persecution.
He read it all, and understood what practitioners were supposed to do, such as sending forth righteous thoughts. He changed, improved a lot and said that he knew now what he should do.
There are many stories about meeting up with former practitioners, especially those that had fallen by the wayside because they did not get the materials published after the onset of the persecution. Many have started to practice again. I will not stop looking for former practitioners, so they can come back to the practice.
