Ms. Sun Meihua Tried Again at Wuzhong District Court

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Sun Meihua, 46, was tried at the Wuzhong District Court on May 19, 2015.

She was previously tried at Wuzhong Court on February 6, 2015, while she was held at the Suzhou City No. 4 Detention Center.

Ms. Sun was illegally arrested by officers from the Guangfu Police Station on August 30, 2014, when she was reported to the authorities for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Sun is from Dongzhu Town in Wuzhong District, Suzhou City.

Previous Arrest

Ms. Sun was arrested by officers from the Wuzhong Police Department in 2006, when she distributed informational materials about the persecution.

She was later sentenced to a six-year prison term by the Wuzhong Court. She was taken to the Nantong Women’s Prison, where she was tortured.

After she began practicing Falun Gong in 1998, Ms. Sun became healthy and all of her ailments disappeared.

When the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, she persisted in her belief and followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in her daily life. She also talked to people about the persecution.
