Former Medical University Lecturer Presses Charges Against Former Chinese Dictator Jiang Zemin

June 10, 2015 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Hebei Province, China

(Minghui.org) A former university lecturer recently filed a complaint against former head of the Chinese Communist Party for the pain and suffering she endured in the past 16 years and for persecuting Falun Gong.

Ms. Feng Ruixue sent the complaint to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Supreme People's Court, demanding Jiang Zemin, former Chinese head who launched the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, to be held criminally responsible for the losses and deaths sustained by Falun Gong practitioners.

“The crimes of genocide and torture Jiang committed against Falun Gong hurt me and tens of millions of other Falun Gong practitioners and their families,” said Ms. Feng in her complaint, “Every person of justice in this country should stand up and stop Jiang's crimes.”

Express mail receipts of the complaints Ms. Feng Ruixue sent to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Supreme People's Court.

Ms. Feng, 46, became a practitioner in 1996. During the 16 years of persecution, she was many times kidnapped, detained, imprisoned and put on trial. The guards in a forced labor camp shocked her with electric batons until she was covered in blisters. Her hair turned gray by the age of 40 because of the mental stress she endured. She was demoted and her wages were cut off.

More Details from Ms. Feng Ruixue's Account

Ms. Feng's arthritis and hepatitis disappeared after she practiced Falun Gong. After the persecution began, her employer at Hebei Medical University constantly pressured her to renounce her belief in writing.

Police arrested Mr. Feng at her workplace in 2001 without notifying her family. She was put in a brainwashing center for three months.

Police in Shijiazhuang arrested Ms. Feng in April 2003 for giving out Falun Gong informational materials in her class. She was put in a detention center for a month and transferred to a forced labor camp for a year.

She was arrested again for distributing Falun Gong materials in 2006 and charged with “sabotaging law enforcement using a cult organization.” The constitution protects freedom of belief, and she pleaded not guilty. She was sentenced to three years in prison in a 30-minute show trial.

Ms. Feng was arrested again from work in 2011. She was detained for 15 days and transferred to Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp for a year. She was put in solitary confinement, deprived of sleep and monitored around the clock. The guards shocked her with electric batons and beat her after she refused to perform hard labor. As a result she was bruised and covered in blisters. The camp authorities released her in March 15, 2012.

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
