Mr. Ye Guanghui's Case Passed to Procuratorate to Face Trial

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Ye Guanghui was arrested on the morning of April 23, 2015. The police department has already transferred his case to the Procuratorate to put him on trial.

Four officers from the Meixian District Police Department and Chengdong Police Station broke into Mr. Ye's home, ransacked it and arrested him.

His father and youngest daughter asked police to release him, as he is the sole provider for the family and that they would suffer great hardship without him. The daughter had to drop out of school because of the arrest to tend to the family's farm.

The officer in charge of Mr. Ye's case, Lin Li, asked for verification from the village community committee regarding the family's hardship. He also stated that Mr. Ye would be held for at least a month before being released.

Mr. Ye's father and youngest daughter went to the police department on May 18 and asked for his release. Lin Li told them that the case had already been transferred to the Meixian District Procuratorate in preparation to sentence him.

Mr. Ye's lives in Yushui Village, Chengdong Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province.

Lin Li has actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong and was involved in the arrest of practitioners Ms. Li Meiping, Ms. Deng Fangying and Ms. Fu Xuebing.

In addition, two female practitioners from Meizhou were reported to the authorities by Lin Li on the morning of May 22 for distributing Shen Yun DVDs at the Jinpanqiao market. Fortunately, both of them managed to escape.
