(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lu Jinyu, 51, was illegally arrested by officers from the Shenyang City Domestic Security Division and Huangcheng Police Station on April 13, 2015.
He was taken to the Huangcheng Police Station, where he was interrogated and force-fed water laced with hot peppers. He is currently held at the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.
Mr. Lu was a teacher at the Liaoning Science and Technology College in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. He had previously been arrested twice for practicing Falun Gong.
He went to Beijing to petition the government for the right to practice Falun Gong in October 1999, but was arrested and held in the Benxi Detention Center for 15 days.
On August 4, 2002, he was arrested for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong and was later sentenced to 9 years, which he served in Dabei Prison in Shenyang City, Wafangdian Prison, and Shenyang No. 1 Prison.
He was tortured physically and mentally, including being hung up, beaten with spiked batons, confined in a steel cage, and injected with unknown drugs.
After he was released in 2011, he was fired from his job and had to leave home to find work in Fushun City.
