Additional Persecution News from China – July 11, 2015 (26 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 49 were illegally arrested. Eleven practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

Mr. Niu Xiuyong was arrested by officers from the Jingan Town Police Station on July 3, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was released that afternoon.

2. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Jiang Chao's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Jiang Chao was arrested by several officers on July 7, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiuli Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiuli was arrested at home by officers from the Dongming Police Station on the afternoon of July 10, 2015.

4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Sumei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Sumei was arrested at home by officers from Qiaokou District and the Hanjiadun Police Station on the morning of July 7, 2015. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, DVDs, and currency bills having information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them. Ms. Zhang was taken to the police station and released that afternoon.

5. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Jifeng Arrested

Ms. Li Jifeng was arrested and her computers and printers were confiscated on July 10, 2015.

6. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Baofu and Four Other Practitioners Detained

Mr. Wang Baofu and four other practitioners were arrested on July 9, 2015. They were detained for 10 days.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Yanmei Taken to Nihe Detention Center

Ms. Liu Yanmei was arrested by officers from the Renhe Police Station on June 8, 2015. She was later taken to the Nihe Detention Center.

8. [Chongqing] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tang Minghua, Ms. Wang Jing, and Ms. Yu Dehui were arrested by officers from the Yubei District State Security Bureau on June 10, 2015. Ms. Wang and Ms. Yu were released and Ms. Tang is still detained.

9. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Peng was arrested by officers from the Jujia Town Police Station on the morning of July 9, 2015.

Mr. Qiang Mengsheng was arrested by officers from the Weibin Police Department on the evening of July 6, 2015. The police ransacked his home. Mr. Hou Xinlu and his wife were also arrested.

Ms. Gao Juqin, 55, and Ms. Suqin, 51, were arrested and are now detained at the Baoji city Detention Center.

10. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Wang Defu, Ms. Ren Jinfeng, and Ms. Lu Lianxia were arrested by Gucheng Police Department employees and officers from the Dingxing Domestic Security Division on July 7, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against the communist dictator Jiang Zemin. They are detained at a detention center.

11. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin, Ms. Ren Shukun, Mr. Wen Guoqiang, and Mr. Chen Changbao were arrested at home by officers from the Dingzhou City Police Department, Mingyuedian Town Police Station, Mingyuedian Town Government, and Mingyuedian Village on the morning of July 7, 2015. The police ransacked their homes.

Mr. Wen and Mr. Chen were released that day because they failed the physical examination. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Ren are detained at the Dingzhou City Detention Center.

12. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xia Shuli and Ms. Chi were arrested by officers at the Tumen City Post Office on July 9, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against the communist dictator Jiang Zemin.

13. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xizheng Detained

Ms. Wang Xizheng, 60, was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Junan County 610 Office on July 9, 2015. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books. She was detained for 15 days.

14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Jingyu Detained

Mr. Liu Jingyu, 66, was arrested at home by officers including director Yu Meng from the Yongzheng Police Station on the evening of July 8, 2015. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, computers, printers, cell phones, and other personal items. Ms. Liu is detained at the Yaojia Detention Center.

15. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Wenbo, Ms. Liu Wenxiu, and Ms. Zhao Shuyan and her sister Ms. Zhao Shuxiang were arrested by officers from the Yilan County 610 Office, police department, and police station on July 10, 2015. Ms. Zhao Shuyan and her sister Ms. Zhao Shuxiang were detained for15 days. Mr. Liu and Ms. Liu were released.

Mr. Geng Junru, Mr. Xu Xuliang, and Mr. Xie Zhicheng were arrested on July 7, 2015. Mr. Geng and Mr. Xie were released that evening and Mr. Xu is detained at the Huan County Detention Center.

17. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wu Junru Arrested

Mr. Wu Junru was arrested by officers from the Linghai City Domestic Security Division on July 10, 2015. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a laptop computer and a printer.

18. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Ms. Ding Hongli and Ms. Ding Hongxia Detained

Ms. Ding Hongli and her sister Ms. Ding Hongxia were arrested by officers from the Xinhua Police Station in Jiaozuo City on the afternoon of July 4, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against former communist head Jiang Zemin. They are detained at the Jiaozuo City Detention Center.

19. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Cheng Fuhua Detained

Mr. Cheng Fuhua was arrested by officers from the Kunmingjie Police Station in Zhongshan District on June 1, 2015. He is detained at the Yaojia Detention Center.

Mr. Wang Qizhi and Ms. Xu Ping were arrested by officers from the Danzishi Police Station on July 4, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Zhang Zhanan was arrested by officers from the Tiexinjiedao Police Station in Linghe District on the morning of July 10, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against the communist dictator Jiang Zemin. The police ransacked his home.

22. [Tianjin] Mr. Dong Wencai Detained

Mr. Dong Wencai was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Jinnan Court on July 9, 2015. He is still detained at the Jinnan Detention Center.

23. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Chunyang, Mr. Wang Quan, and Mr. Sun Wanliang were arrested by local police officers on July 8, 2015, when they went to a local post office to mail criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin. Mr. Wang Chunyang is still detained and the other two practitioners were released.

Ms. Leng Yuqin was arrested by officers from the Jinzhou City 610 Office on the morning of July 6, 2015, for posting adhesive stickers with Falun Gong information along the streets. She was later taken to a detention center.

Mr. Hu Baori, Ms. Ai Lianfang, Ms. Wang Ximei, Ms. Li Yanhe, and Ms. Hu Guanxia were arrested by officers from the Yueyang County Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of July 9, 2015. Ms. Wang, Ms. Li, and Ms. Hu are detained at the Yunxi Detention Center in Yueyang County. Mr. Hu and Ms. Ai are detained at the Yueyang County Detention Center.
