(Minghui.org) There are still people who have kindness in their heart in this world. Actually, I have encountered many experiences when I tell people about Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of it.
Protesting Peacefully Turns Into Great Results
My parents were illegally detainedin 2010. A fellow practitioner and I demonstrated outside the local police department with banners that demanded their release, while fellow practitioners sent righteous thoughts nearby.
The domestic security staff did not dare to leave the building, however many people were watching us from the windows. They were nervous to face two young girls.
Some vehicle occupants rolled down their windows and shouted that we should keep it up, and suggested that we take our protest to the provincial and central government.
Passersby and people from nearby shops asked us what was going on. We told them about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. They were very sympathetic to Falun Gong practitioners and felt anger about the injustice done to practitioners.
Some people bought us water, some gave us thumbs-up and some quietly watched us from a distance.
Many people gathered around us to listen to our story, but some guards from the police department drove them away.
We continued our vigil and sent righteous thought. A lady and a gentleman stopped their car, joined us and asked us for our story. She said that she was a reporter who wanted to uphold justice.
A guard from the police department rushed out of the building and shouted hysterically, “Who are you? Do you know that they are Falun Gong practitioners? How dare you listen to them!”
The gentleman pointed his finger at the guard, asked him for his identification and told him to leave. We told them our story and after they left officers from the police station came to help us and told us that their entire department looked down on the domestic security staff.
The reception staff from the District Procuratorate withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The judge at the court accepted a Shen Yun CD and resigned from his position some days later. The city procuratorate reception staff said that they were firmly against torture and gave us the main prosecutor's name and phone number.
There were so many people from the respective government offices who listened to the facts of Falun Gong, who helped us, made suggestions and the doctors gave us information the prison refused to give us.
Many Stories of People Awakening
On another occasion I gave a Falun Gong promotional calendar to an elderly man. When I presented him with the beautiful calendar and talked about it, he looked at the calendar and listened to me carefully. He then said that he knew that Falun Gong is good and showed me a Falun Gong amulet he wore around his neck. He had withdrawn from the CCP and silently recites “Falun Gong is good” daily.
A taxi driver told me after I talked to him about Falun Gong that he now understood that Falun Gong is good and that I need to be careful. He asked me if I was paid for talking about the practice and as soon as he heard otherwise, he said from deep in his heart that he felt practitioners are really terrific.
Changing Attitude and Accepting a Shen Yun DVD
A fellow practitioner and I visited a cosmetics department in a mall, gave the sales person a Shen Yun DVD and introduced Shen Yun to her. While we were talking, her boss showed up, asked if we were talking about Falun Gong and asked us to leave.
Instead of leaving, I thanked her for being worried about our safety. The situation improved and I introduced Shen Yun to her. She admitted that she had seen the show, agreed to look at the DVD at home and asked us to visit often.
Elderly Man Stopped Singing Party Songs
There is a small square near the building where I used to live. I heard an elderly man sing at the square every morning, with the majority songs being folk songs, but many of them praised the CCP.
At first, I was disgusted and as soon as he started with his songs I sent righteous thoughts. However, he still sang his songs. I looked within and found that I held no compassion in my heart.
Gradually I began to feel sorry for him. Their generation was deceived by the CCP. They loved singing, but they had no other songs than party songs to sing. I wanted to give him a Shen Yun DVD, so that he could see the authentic Chinese traditional culture and could hear Falun Gong songs.
The next morning when I heard him sing I walked over to him and handed him a Shen Yun DVD while talking to him about it. He refused to accept it, so I quickly put the DVD into my bag and said, “It is okay if you don’t want to see it. Anyway, my grandma and many older people really love the show. There are very good songs and very good dances, don’t you want to enjoy it?”
He stared at my bag, but did not want to ask for the DVD. I took one out, pointed at the picture on the DVD cover and said, “Look how pretty the dancers are and their intricate costumes; and how beautiful the stage backdrop is. There are also many recognitions and praises of our traditional culture from overseas famous artists, celebrities and politicians. How great it is!” He smiled , nodded his head, accepted the DVD and looked at it over and over again. Since then I never heard him sing Party songs.
People Welcome Our Efforts
Some people are a little picky when we suggest a pseudonym when they quit the CCP. Some people get excited when we hand them the Shen Yun DVDs and tell us that they finally found what they had been looking for. Some are afraid that we might have forgotten to help them withdraw from the CCP and want us to confirm that we really had taken care of their withdrawal when they see us again.
Others, after they understood that Falun Gong is good and Falun Gong has been persecuted, explain the facts about the practice to their colleagues and classmates. Some students shout ‘Falun Gong is good in their dorms.
Some people, after they accepted Shen Yun DVDs, want to give us gifts. Other people tell us that the software to break the Internet blockade was very effective and that they use it every day.
There are those that tell us that they loved to watch Shen Yun shows and some of the elderly want to take the DVDs with them when they visit their children and grandchildren.
There are so many people who have awakened and step away from the CCP brainwashing. Their mind is clear now and they can enjoy the goodness Falun Gong is bringing to them.
