Additional Persecution News from China – July 25, 2015 (30 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in 14 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 44 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wu Aixiang, 50, and Ms. Liu Xiukun, 70, both from Youlian Village, were arrested on July 22, 2015. The police ransacked their homes.

Ms. Zou Xiaojie and Ms. Guan, both from Chunguang Village, were arrested on July 23, 2015.

2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yu Yiwen Arrested

Mr. Yu Yiwen, a practitioner in his 40s, from Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, was arrested in Yantian District in Shenzhen City on July 22, 2015.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Hongru Detained

Mr. Zhang Hongru, a practitioner in his 40s, was arrested by officers from Shahe Police Station on July 23, 2015. He was taken to that police station and is now detained at Changping Detention Center.

4. [Longyan City, Fujian Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tong Zhangmei and an elderly practitioner were arrested on July 17, 2015 for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Tong is detained at a detention center. The elderly practitioner was released.

5. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Yang Aiqin Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Yang Aiqin was recently arrested by police officers.

6. [Chongqing] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Jiang Yourong was arrested at the Caiyuanba Railway Station by officers from the police station of that railway station on July 23, 2015. Ms. Li Huilan was also arrested at that railway station on the same day. Both were released.

7. [Anhua County, Hunan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Chen Xinchu was arrested by officers from Meicheng Town Police Station on July 21, 2015 for posting informational materials about the complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Mr. Xiao Jingqing was arrested for going to that police station to talk to officers about the persecution of Falun Gong and ask for Mr. Chen’s release. Mr. Xiao is detained at Yiyang City No. 2 Detention Center.

8. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhao Ke Detained and Ms. Liu Fuzhen Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Ke, deceived by officers from Baigutun Police Station, went to that police station on July 23, 2015 and was detained there. Ms. Liu Fuzhen was arrested at home.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Zhihui Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Xu Zhihui was arrested at home by local officers and officers from Chongwen District Police Department on July 20, 2015.

10. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Zhaoying Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Yang Zhaoying was arrested by officers from Suizhong County Domestic Security Division on July 24, 2015. The police confiscated her laptop computer, cell phone, Falun Gong books, and other personal items.

11. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yin Shukun and Others Arrested

Several practitioners, including Ms. Yin Shukun, in her 60s, were arrested by officers from Hexiguanshaling Police Station on July 17, 2015 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She has been detained, and the others were released.

12. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Chi Yufeng Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Chi Yufeng was arrested by officers from Jiulongshan Police Station in Huishui County on July 21, 2015 for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Rongxin Detained

Practitioner Mr. Liu Rongxin was arrested and taken to Heyan Town Police Station on July 22, 2015 for posting signs that read: “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice.” He is detained at Hengshui City Detention Center.

14. [Anhua County, Hunan Province] Mr. Xiao Jiqing Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Xiao Jiqing was arrested on July 21, 2015 for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

15. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fu Zhaowei Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Fu Zhaowei was recently arrested in Changle County.

16. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shunu, Ms. Sun Shuying, and Ms. Fang Kezhen were recently arrested by officers from Pingshan Police Station.

17. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Li, Ms. Guan Shaoqing, and Ms. Wang Shufang were arrested by officers from Wujia Town Police Station on July 22, 2015. They were detained at the Daoli Detention Center in Harbin City. Ms. Zhang Li did not pass the physical exam and was later released.

18. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners were arrested by officers from Wengniuteqi Police Department, Songshan District Police Department, and Hongshan District Police Department on July 21, 2015. They are Ms. Zhang Chunyan, Mr. Qu Yazhong, Mr. Qi Hongshu, Ms. Wang Jinrong, and Mr. Wei Guoyu.

Practitioner Ms. Wu Huijuan, from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, was arrested in Beijing on July 19, 2015 for filing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former dictator of the CCP, to the Supreme Court.

Practitioner Mr. Su Wei was arrested by officers from Nanhudalu Police Station on July 18, 2015. He is detained at Weizigou Detention Center for 10 days.

Ms. Yan Shaoqing from Shangrao, Jiangxi Province was arrested in Guangzhou on July 7, 2015. She is detained at Shangrao City Detention Center in Jiangxi Province.

Ms. Wang Cuiping, Ms. Xu Fengxia, and Ms. Duan Shuqing were arrested by officers from Jianming Police Station on July 23, 2015 for posting messages about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at Zunhuan City Detention Center.

Practitioners Ms. Chen Jinmei and Mr. Yang Linzhen were arrested at home by officers from the 610 Office on July 23, 2015. The police ransacked their homes. Ms. Chen was released, and Mr. Yang is still detained.

Practitioner Mr. Xu Guanglin was arrested and taken to Xiaodongmen Detention Center by officers from Chengxi Police Station on July 23, 2015.

Practitioner Ms. Qin Li was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term on July 23, 2015.

26. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Shenxin Detained

Practitioner Mr. Liu Shenxin was arrested by officers from Heyan Town Police Station on July 22, 2015 for posting informational posters about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is detained at Hengshui City Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Lei Tianyun was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Chongyang County Police Department on July 22, 2015 for mailing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP. The police confiscated her computer and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are unknown.

28. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Jingying and Ms. Zheng Yajie Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Xu Jingying and Ms. Zheng Yajie were arrested by officers from Acheng District Railway Police Station on July 24, 2015.

29. [Qianwei County, Sichuan Province] Ms. He Xiuzhen and Ms. Yang Guizhen Arrested

Practitioners Ms. He Xiuzhen and Ms. Yang Guizhen were arrested on July 20, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes.

30. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Gao Yuanxue and Ms. Shi Hualun Detained

Practitioners Mr. Gao Yuanxue and Ms. Shi Hualun were arrested at home on July 14, 2015. They are detained at Lannigou Brainwashing Center.
