(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Sacramento participated in the annual multicultural festival at Elk Grove Regional Park on August 22, 2015. The event attracts nearly 10,000 visitors every year.

Elk Grove is the second largest city in the metro-Sacramento area, and has a diverse population, including many Chinese.
Sunday's event took place on a pleasant, sunny day with a light breeze. People of various ethnicities came by the Falun Dafa booth, asked questions, took fliers, and registered for the next free exercise instruction session.
Many local Chinese families came to the park and visited the Falun Dafa booth, too.
One young Chinese couple, who recently came to California, took a copy of all the printed materials about Falun Dafa, and they wanted to learn more. A practitioner told them how they could watch New Tang Dynasty TV online for free. The couple was very happy, and carefully wrote down the website address.
Mr. Yao from Shandong Province willingly quit the Communist Party after hearing about the quitting movement, and said that he had never liked the Chinese Communist Party.
An older Chinese man told the practitioners that he reads the Epoch Times (Chinese version) all the time and knew a lot of facts about the situation in China.
One young man of Miao nationality came to the Falun Gong booth with a big smile on his face. While chatting, he told the practitioners that he used to be a ballet dancer. He learned of Falun Dafa through the Shen Yun Performing Arts show that his family watched every year. He said he wished he could attend Feitian Academy of Arts to learn Chinese classic dance.
