(Minghui.org) Here are two stories about people in China who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Story 1: “Why Wasn’t My name on the List?”
I saw my cousin last May. After I explained to her about how Falun Gong is being persecuted and told her about the wave of people quitting the CCP, she happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its organizations.
A week later, I met her again at a market fair. She was with her husband, but she asked me if I could drive her home.
On our way home she asked me, "I asked you to help me to withdraw the CCP. Why didn’t I see my name on the name list of the people quitting the CCP? Have you submitted my name yet?" It was true that I had not submitted the name list to the Epoch Times website yet. The list was still at my home.
I wondered how she knew her name had not been submitted, she said, "I had a dream last night and it was crystal clear. The 'big trials' you talked about may be true!" I asked, "Why do you say so?"
She said, "In my dream I saw a huge scale. Someone said, ‘It is for measuring a person’s conscience.’ I was not afraid and thought that my cousin helped me withdraw from the Party. I asked that person to check my status. He opened a roster and found my name; he told me, ‘You have said Falun Dafa is good and you are not sick anymore. But your name for the withdrawing has not been submitted yet.’"
So it was. I looked at my cousin. She used to have a grayish complexion before from her long-term illnesses. Now her complexion looked healthy and she looked very energetic. She looked very healthy without any illnesses.
Story 2: The Police Station Director Quit the CCP
A few days ago, I went out to tell people about Falun Gong and about quitting the CCP for a good future. I met a refined and gentle looking man who was about 40 years old.
I walked up to him and started to tell him about Falun Gong. He asked me, "Do you know who I am?" I answered, "Someone who wants a safe and sound future!"
He said, "I am in charge of arresting Falun Gong practitioners." I said, "Then, I don’t have to explain much to you. Please tell me from what you know of us, ‘Are Falun Gong practitioners good or bad people?’" He immediately replied without hesitation, "They are good people!"
I said, "Your reply tells me that you are a good person. Good people should quit the CCP to ensure a safe and sound future." He laughed and agreed, and I chose a nickname for him to withdraw from the CCP and its organizations.
He advised me to leave quickly and said, "Pay attention to your safety!"
I was happy for him and said "Goodbye!" with smile.
Later I learned that he was the director of a police station in our district.
