Additional Persecution News from China – July 22, 2015 (16 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 23 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Yongxing County, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Guifeng and Ms. Zhou Jinlian Detained

Ms. Li Guifeng and Ms. Zhou Jinlian took a bus to the countryside to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong on July 11, 2015. They were followed and arrested by officers from the county 610 Office and police department. The officers confiscated their Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) informational materials. Both practitioners are being held in the county detention center.

2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yu Kaiping Detained

Mr. Yu Kaiping was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office in the Nanshan District on June 29, 2015 and detained for seven days.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Aimin, Ms. Meng Qingxia and Ms. Guo Xiulan Arrested

Ms. Wang Aimin and Ms. Meng Qingxia from the Changping District were arrested at home by officers from the local 610 Office and Domestic Security Division on July 20, 2015. Both practitioners are being held in a detention center.

Ms. Guo Xiulan from the Qinglangyuan Community, Changping District was arrested at home on July 20, 2015. The officers also ransacked her home.

4. [Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Chang Yuqin Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Chang Yuqin was arrested and taken to the Chifeng Brainwashing Center by officers from the Xilinhot Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office on the morning of July 18, 2015. She was later released and taken home.

5. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Yuexia Arrested

Ms. Liu Yuexia was arrested on July 9, 2015.

6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tian Jinxin Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Mr. Tian Jinxin from Harbin City was sentenced recently to four years in prison by the Shenhe District Court, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He is preparing to appeal the sentence.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Yuqing and Daughter Arrested

Ms. Chen Yuqing and her daughter from the Sijiqing Town, Haidian District were arrested at home on July 19, 2015 by officers from the Shuguang Police Station, Haidian District. The officers confiscated a color copier, two computers, two printers, and copies of Zhuan Falun.

8. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhuang Jintian and Wife Ms. Wang Shufang Detained

Mr. Zhuang Jintian and his wife Ms. Wang Shufang were arrested in Shangji Town by officers from the Qingan County Police Department and the Shangji Town Police Station in Suiling County on July 16, 2015. The officer ransacked their home. The couple is being held in the Qiangan County Police Department.

9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pang Jiae and Ms. Yao Meng Arrested

Ms. Pang Jiae, and her daughter Ms. Yao Meng from Pulandian City, under the administration of Dalian, were arrested by officers from the Beilan Police Station on the morning of July 19, 2015. Ms. Yao was released that night. Ms. Pang is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Lin Lan and Mr. He Jun Arrested

Canadian citizens Ms. Lin Lan and Mr. He Jun were arrested in Beijing by officers from the Nanhu Police Station in Chaoyang District on July 20, 2015. Neither practitioner has been released.

11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hu Chunfang Arrested

Ms. Hu Chunfang from the Fushan District was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Menlou Town Police Station while posting Falun Gong informational stickers on the morning of July 21, 2015.

12. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yin Jun Arrested

Officers from the Fusong Town Police Station broke into Ms. Yin Jun's home and arrested her on the morning of July 21, 2015.

13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Shi Tian Arrested

Ms. Shi Tian, an employee of the Kuancheng District Hospital, was arrested at work by officers from the Kuancheng District Police Department on July 21, 2015.

14. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Suli Arrested

Ms. Zhang Suli was arrested by officers from the Shannan Domestic Security Division on July 20, 2015. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, and Falun Dafa books.

15. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shi Qiang and Mr. Zhang Wei Arrested

Mr. Shi Qiang and Mr. Zhang Wei were arrested by officers from the Binhai Police Department in Shengli Oil Field on the afternoon of July 21, 2015. The officers also ransacked their homes.

16. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Huang Chuanhua Detained

Ms. Huang Chuanhua, a retired teacher from Yaodianzi Town, Yishui County, was arrested by officers from the 610 Office when she mailed her lawsuit against former dictator Jiang Zemin at the Yishui County Post Office on July 21, 2015. She is being held in a detention center for 10 days.
