(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners filed over 120,000 criminal complaints against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin between the end of May and July 30, 2015, for launching the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999.
The Minghui website also published a number of articles which highlighted the voices of support from members of the public when they heard about the prosecuting Jiang Zemin movement. Below are two such reports:
Fellow practitioners and I were telling the public about the persecution of Falun Gong. We spoke to Li, a young man who had decided to quit the Chinese Communist Party.
We told him that practitioners worldwide are suing Jiang Zemin, and that tens of thousands of complaints had been sent to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
“Jiang has never accomplished anything good,” said Li. “I will celebrate the day Jiang Zemin is brought to court!”
A police officer in Liaoning Province visited practitioner Ms. Jinglan on July 8, 2015.
Ms. Jinglan was not at home, but her husband, who is not a practitioner, was. Her husband called her. The officer asked her if she had sued Jiang. She replied, “Yes.” He wanted to know when she filed the complaint. “June,” she said.
Before leaving, the officer asked her husband, “Why sue Jiang? He is over 80 years old.”
“My family benefits from Falun Gong, and Jiang persecuted them,” answered Ms. Jinglan's husband. “He never did anything decent; only hurting, damaging, and killing the innocent. Shouldn't he be sued?”
The police officer agreed, “Sue him! Sue him!”
