(Minghui.org) During the New Years holiday, I was very busy running a store when I noticed a lady who lives in my neighborhood. She wanted to return a comforter she had bought in September because the fill was spilling out. I told her that was impossible, because my store sells only brand name products, and so far no one had ever complained.
She insisted that the comforter was defective. I didn't really believe her, but I responded like a Dafa practitioner and followed the Fa principles.
Master said,
“Our school of practice directly targets one’s mind. The key issue is whether you can take lightly and care less about the issues of individual gain and interpersonal conflicts.” (Zhuan Falun)
I said that I believed her and asked how she would like me to deal with it. She did not know how to respond. I told her that if she brought the comforter back, I would exchange it free of charge.
“I practice Falun Dafa,” I said. “The founder of Dafa asks practitioners to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I must be honest and fair.”
She returned in three weeks and said, “I have to apologize. I was wrong–there was nothing wrong with the comforter I bought here. My son confessed that he cut it up.”
“I am impressed by how kind and honest you are. I am going to buy bedding for my niece's wedding from you,” she said.
She purchased 6,000 yuan worth of goods from my store and later made another large purchase. Even when other stores aren't doing well, I always have many customers. I know this is because I practice Falun Dafa.
