(Minghui.org) “I know that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many people are being misled as a result,” said William Daniel Ford, an IT technical assistant, when he visited the information site set up by Falun Gong practitioners in front of Pacific Mall, Toronto, Canada. He signed a petition calling for a stop to the CCP's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Pacific Mall is the largest Asian Shopping Center in Ontario Province, and the largest indoor shopping mall catering to Chinese customers. It is located on northeast of crossroad of Steeles Avenue and Kennedy Road, and hosts 400 shops that sell Asian products. It is open every day throughout the year. Crowds of people come to shop during weekends and holidays.
The Falun Gong information site was set up in front of the mall in 2007. Practitioners go there every day, regardless of weather, to explain the facts about Falun Gong to passersby. Their eight-year effort in raising awareness on the persecution of Falun Gong has helped people become aware that Falun Dafa is good and that the CCP persecutes innocent practitioners. As a result, many Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations after talking with practitioners.
Practitioners hold banners in front of Pacific Mall, which read, “Supporting Global Lawsuits against Jiang Zemin for his Crimes Against Humanity,” “The CCP Does Not Represent China. Patriotism to China Does Not Mean like the CCP,” etc.

Practitioner Mr. Cao comes to hold banners and explain the facts about Falun Gong. He says, “Passersby were indifferent to us in past years. Now many people come to read the posters and learn the facts about the persecution.”
Practitioner Ms. Gu met a woman one day and greeted her. She asked the lady whether she had joined the CCP. The lady said she was a CCP member. Ms. Gu said, “Do you know about withdrawing from the CCP to ensure a safe future?”
“It was not easy for me to join the Party. I don't want to quit it.” said the lady. Ms. Gu advised her, “The Party is so corrupt, and is going to collapse. Don't let yourself be brought down with it.”
The lady said, “I have an urgent matter to deal with. I am leaving.” Ms. Gu replied, “All right. Let me accompany you to walk for a few minutes.” She then explained the facts about the CCP's persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners, and advised her to quit the Party. Ms. Gu gave her a pseudonym to renounce the Party. The lady said excitedly, “That's my true name.” She happily quit the Party.
An older lady was sitting in a car in the parking lot one day, waiting for her family. Practitioner Ms. Bao saw her and talked to her for a while. She asked the lady whether she was a CCP member, and whether she wished to quit. The lady agreed to quit the Party without hesitation. The lady's son and daughter-in-law arrived after they were finished shopping. Ms. Bao talked to them too, and advised them to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. Both agreed to renounce the Party.

Katryna Smith, who works in a pizza restaurant, learned the facts about the CCP's persecution from the information site. She signed the petition form calling for stopping the CCP's live organ harvesting. She said, “My step mother is a Chinese. She often told me issues in China. Thus I know about the CCP. The persecution of Falun Gong is horrible. The CCP doesn’t treat people fairly.” She supported the practitioners' efforts in opposing the persecution.

William said, “China's human rights record is poor. I know the CCP killed many students on Tiananmen Square in 1989. It is horrible!”
