(Minghui.org) An elderly female Falun Gong practitioner went to a farmers' market to distribute truth-clarification materials in the afternoon on June 10, 2015.
Several security guards saw her and decided to take her to the police. She told them why she was distributing the materials and offered them a DVD. She also told them that Zhou Yongkang (a former high-ranking Chinese Communist Party – CCP – official) is serving a life sentence for persecuting Falun Gong. But they refused to listen and insisted on taking her to the police station.
When officers at the police station saw her being brought in, they looked in her bag and found DVD's and pamphlets. One officer said, “Let me look at this more closely.” Each officer took a pamphlet about the crimes committed by Zhou Yongkang and Jiang Zemin (former head of the CCP) and began reading. Some of them took a DVD and went back to their offices.
After some time, one officer came back and said, “My goodness, that pamphlet is scary. Everything in it is true."
The officer in charge of confiscated items told me that he did not submit the materials to his superior. Instead, he told each officer to take some home.
After all the materials were taken, the officer called the practitioner's family and asked them to come and take her home.
