Additional Persecution News from China – September 13, 2015 (26 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 14 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 28 were illegally arrested, and the whereabouts of 4 is unknown. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme People's Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Huang Xiaojun Detained

Ms. Huang Xiaojun, arrested by the Gaochun District Domestic Security Division on October 24, 2013, is detained at the Nanjing City Detention Center.

She was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Gaochun District Court in December 2014. She was taken to the Nanjing Women's Prison.

Mr. Wu Shu was arrested by local police officers around September 10, 2015.

Mr. Liang Huaguang was arrested on September 12, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

4. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Yufen Arrested

Ms. Jiang Yufen was ordered by officers from the Wuxi City on August 26, 2015 to come to the police station. Police officers threatened that she would be detained if she refused to write guarantee statements, agreeing not to practice Falun Gong.

5. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Hanping and His Wife Detained

Mr. Liu Hanping and his wife were arrested at home by officers from the Gujiazi Town 610 Office and Domestic Security Division on April 25, 2015. The police ransacked her home and confiscated cash, bank books, a television set, and other personal items. They are detained at the Siping Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Chunxia was arrested on her way to the Qiqihar at Manzhouli Railway Station on August 31, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Tianjin] Ms. Hao Yin Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Hao Yin was arrested by officers from the Ji County Domestic Security Division on September 8, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist regime, for launching the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days.

Ms. Chen Linghua was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Domestic Security Division on September 8, 2015.

9. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang] Three Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Chen Shihai, Mr. Ju Zaiping, and Mr. Gong Runzhong were recently arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

10. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Sulan Arrested

Ms. Li Sulan was arrested by officers, including An Hongwen, from the Yinfeng Police Station on September 4, 2015. The police confiscated the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and amulets. She was taken to a detention center and released due to high blood pressure.

11. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Youlin and Ms. Wang Fuhua Detained

Ms. Li Youlin was arrested by officers from the Xiaochang County Domestic Security Division and the Baisha Police Station on September 9, 2015, for suing the Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. The police confiscated all of her Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. She was detained at Baisha Police Station and released.

Ms. Wang Fuhua was arrested by officers from the Xiaonan Domestic Security Division and the Xiaogan 610 Office on the same day. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, and 10,000 yuan. She is detained at the Huangpilu Detention Center in Xiaogan City.

12. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Yan Qingying and Ms. Li Shuhua were arrested by officers from the Huanglong Police Station on September 7, 2015. Ms. Yan was detained for seven days and Ms. Li five days.

13. [Lishui City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Hu Suxiang Arrested

Ms. Hu Suxiang was arrested on September 12, 2015.

14. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced

Mr. Fang Haifeng, Ms. Wang Haiyan, and Ms. Gong Fang, arrested on August 30, 2014, are detained at the Longgang District Detention Center. They were sentenced by the Longgang Court on September 10, 2015. Mr. Fang was sentenced to a four-year prison term and both Ms. Wang and Ms. Gong to a three-year prison term each.

Ms. Jia Xiufeng was arrested on September 8, 2015. Ms. Gong Quimin was arrested in the spring of 2015. Their whereabouts are still unknown.

16. [Chongqing] Mr. Liu Daoquan Persecuted

Mr. Liu Daoquan was arrested by officers, including Li Deming, from the Shapingba District Domestic Security Division in April 2013. He was sentenced to an eight-year prison term by the Shapingba District Court and imprisoned at Yongchuan Prison. The prison guards ordered several inmates to force Mr. Liu to write a repentance statement in which he agrees to renounce his belief in Falun Gong.

17. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Kun was arrested by officers from the Fuyang City Police Department on September 9, 2015. At the same time, Ms. Xu Aihua and Ms. Zhou Ruying were also arrested and taken to the Jiefanglu Police Station. Ms. Zhou and Ms. Xu were released and Ms. Liu was detained for five days.

Mr. Li Mingjun was arrested by officers from the Yangliuqing Town Police Station in late August 2015.

19. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jin Hong Detained for Filing a Criminal Complaint Against Jiang Zemin

Mr. Jin Hong was arrested by officers from the Dujia Police Station on July 16, 2015, for mailing a criminal complaint against the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. He was detained at the Yaziquan Detention Center for 15 days.

Ms. Cui Mingxia was arrested by officers from the Ertaizi Police Station on August 21, 2015, for distributing informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released that evening because of high blood pressure.

21. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Bao Meiping and Others Detained

Ms. Bao Meiping and other female practitioners were arrested by officers from the Xin District in Wuxi City on August 25, 2015. They are detained at the Wuxi Detention Center.

22. [Beihai City, Guangxi] Mr. Chen Jimeng Sentenced and Detained

Mr. Chen Jimeng was arrested at home by officers from the Tieshangang District Police Department on July 13, 2015. He was detained at the Beihai City No. 2 Detention Center. He was recently sentenced to a four-year prison term and detained at Litang Prison.

Ms. Cheng Xiuxia was arrested on September 7, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin.

Mr. Luo Guolong was arrested at home by officers from the Shenyang City Domestic Security Division and the Shenbeixin District Domestic Security Division on September 8, 2015. The police ransacked his home. He is detained at the Shenbei Detention Center.
