(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 35 cities or counties in 16 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were harassed, at least 44 were illegally arrested, and 10 others were sentenced, are facing trial, or remain detained. Several of these practitioners were harassed or arrested because they submitted lawsuits or letters of complaint against Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court.

Ms. Weng Yuzhi's home was ransacked by four or five officers, ordered by Yuan Guang, from Yangmu Town Police Station in late October 2015. The police confiscated approximately 50 Falun Gong books and extorted 2,000 yuan from her husband.

Ms. Wang Fengqin and Mr. Zhang Wenbin were harassed four times by officers from Yangmu Town Police Station.

Ms. Huang Qian is facing a trial on December 15, 2015.

3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhu Xiaodong and Mr. Zhou Dongdong Arrested

Mr. Zhu Xiaodong was arrested at home by officers from Domestic Security Division on December 6, 2015. The police ransacked his home.

Mr. Zhou Dongdong was arrested at home on the same day. He was detained for seven days.

4. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xijuan Detained

Ms. Zhang Xijuan was arrested at home by officers from Dehui City Police Department on December 7, 2015. She was detained at Dehui City Detention Center for five days.

5. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Junyan Detained

Ms. Yang Junyan was arrested at work by two officers from Yanji City Domestic Security Division on December 7, 2015. She is detained at Yanji City Detention Center.

6. [Xinjian County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yuan Guoxiang Detained

Ms. Yuan Guoxiang was arrested on December 5, 2015 for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained at Xinjian County Detention Center.

Ms. Ji Huiying and Ms. Zhang Yuehua were arrested by officers from Yaogou Police Station and Changle County Domestic Security Division on December 8, 2015.

8. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Guiling Arrested

Ms. Liu Guiling was arrested on November 18, 2015 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Mr. Gao Fengqi Detained Twice

Mr. Gao Fengqi, 70, was arrested by officers from Beijingdajie Police Station in Changchun City on July 14, 2015 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was detained at Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days.

Mr. Gao was again arrested at home by four officers from Sangang Town in Nongan County on August 24, 2015. He was later detained at Nongan Detention Center for 15 days.

10. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Tang Yumei and Mr. Dong Shuang and his mother were arrested at home by officers from Beishan Police Station on December 7, 2015. They are all detained at Yanji City Detention Center.

11. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Guiluan Harassed

Ms. Li Guiluan was harassed at her home by Liu Jiangwen from Qingyuanjie Police Station on December 8, 2015. He ransacked her home and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, table calendars with Minghui website information on them, volumes of informational materials about Minghui, and her husband's cassette player.

12. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Jinxiu and Ms. Chen Xiuju Detained

Ms. Chen Jinxiu, 56, and Ms. Chen Xiuju, 65, were arrested on December 6, 2015 for posting stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at Shijiazhuang No. 2 Detention Center. While detained, the police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books.

13. [Chongqing] Mr. Yuan Zhiqiang Arrested

Mr. Yuan Zhiqiang was arrested on November 19, 2015.

14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sheng Lili Arrested

Ms. Sheng Lili was arrested by two officers from Dongguangchang Police Station on December 8, 2015 for submitting a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. The police later ransacked her home.

Ms. Guo Xiuqun, 79, was harassed by officers, including Luo Ji from Security Section of Maoming Petrochemical Company on December 1, 2015.

Ms. Shi Yaqiong, Ms. Xie Jian, Ms. Liu Lianqin, Ms. Wu Gaimei, and Ms. Sun Xuezhen were recently sentenced to three to five years in prison. Ms. Xie was sentenced to a five-year prison term, the eldest one to three years, and the others to four years.

18. [Nanzheng County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Yulan Detained

Ms. Li Yulan is still detained at Hanzhong City Detention Center.

19. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liang Yujie Arrested

Ms. Liang Yujie was arrested and her home was ransacked approximately one month ago.

20. [Songzi City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Tried

Mr. Li Mingyuan, 68, Mr. Yang Jitai, 70, and Ms. Xiao Xuexiang, 70, were tried by Songzi City Court on December 10, 2015.

21. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Yajie Harassed

Mr. Zhang Yajie was harassed at home by officers from Hada Town Police Station and Domestic Security Division on December 4, 2015. He was interrogated about suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator, and about practicing Falun Gong.

22. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhou Lihua Arrested

Because Ms. Zhou Lihua was not at home, her husband was arrested instead by officers from Sanyizhuang Police Station and Residential Office on December 6, 2015. The police ransacked and took pictures and video of her home.

Ms. Zhou was arrested and taken to a detention center the next day.

23. [Kailu County, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Pang Yu'e and Ms. Wang Yanhui Arrested

Ms. Pang Yu'e and Ms. Wang Yanhui were arrested on December 3 and 4, 2015, respectively.

24. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cui Hua and Ms. Ding Hongxiu Detained

Ms. Cui Hua and Ms. Ding Hongxiu were arrested on December 3, 2015. They were taken to Shouguang City Detention Center that afternoon for a 15-day detention term.

Ms. Cui's family went to that detention center to see her on December 7. They were not allowed to see her until (being extorted) they paid 750 yuan.

25. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Wenying Detained

Ms. Liu Wenying was arrested at home by officers from Taoyuan Police Station on December 5, 2015. She was detained at Hexi Detention Center for 15 days.

26. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Mao Xiuying's home was ransacked by officers from Dayingmen Police Station on December 6, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. The police also forced her to sign some documents.

Ms. Hu Huiyang was also harassed by officers from Xiawafang in Hexi District. Her husband was forced to sign some documents related to suing Jiang Zemin.

Ms. Li Guilan was also harassed by officers from Dayingmen Police Station.

27. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Biqun's Families Arrested

Ms. Li Biqun was not at home on December 2, 2015. This is when officers from Liucheng Police Station and Community Office broke into her home to investigate Ms. Li's suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and 30 or more Falun Gong books. Her husband, 78, and son were arrested and taken to that police station. Ms. Li later went there to talk to officers about the persecution of Falun Gong and for the release of her husband and son. They were released around 9 p.m. that day.

28. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Huafu Detained

Mr. Li Huafu was detained for 15 days.

29. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wu Yongling's Home Ransacked

Ms. Wu Yongling's home was ransacked by officers from Huangjinlu Community Office, including its director Xiang Wei, on November 20, 2015. Ms. Wu was interrogated about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. The police confiscated five Falun Gong books and several informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

30. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Province] Ms. Yang Tianyun Arrested

Ms. Yang Tianyun's daughter was arrested at work by officers from Dawukou District Police Department on the afternoon of November 25, 2015. The police then took her home to get Ms. Yang's family member to open the door. Ms. Yang was arrested, and the police ransacked her home.

In the morning of that day, the police went to Ms. Yang's home several times but no one opened the door.

31. [Benxi County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Chunxue Detained

Mr. Xu Chunxue's home was ransacked by officers, including Yang Tianshuai, from Qinghecheng Town Police Station on November 19, 2015. Mr. Xu went to that police station on December 3 to ask for the confiscated items. However, the police arrested him. He was detained at Benxi County Detention Center for 10 days.

32. [Hejiang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoling Detained and Her Husband Left Home to Avoid Further Persecution

Ms. Liu Xiaoling was arrested and detained for 15 days for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. Her home was later ransacked. Ms. Liu was arrested again and taken to Luzhou City. Her husband had to leave home to avoid further persecution.

33. [Laohekou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Bao Xiulan and Mr. Shan Furong Arrested

Ms. Bao Xiulan, 61, and Mr. Shan Furong, 50, were arrested on December 7, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Bao was arrested at home, and the police confiscated all her Falun Gong books. Mr. Shan was arrested at work, and the police confiscated printers, computers, and other personal items.

34. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhu Minguang Detained

Mr. Zhu Minguang, in his 60s, was arrested by two officers on November 26, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. He was taken to Changan Police Department and then detained at Mudanjiang City Detention Center for five days.

35. [Shanghai] Ms. Sun Shuhua and Mr. Liu Chengyuan Arrested

Ms. Sun Shuhua and her husband, Mr. Liu Chengyuan, from Jiaohe City, Jilin Province, stayed at her daughter's home in Shanghai. They were arrested by officers from Nantong District, Shanghai, in mid November 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Three officers from Nantong District went to Jiaohe City to ransack the couple's home along with officers from the local police station in Jiaohe City. They confiscated a computer and Falun Gong books.

36. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Zhenjing and Mr. Wang Wenyu Harassed

Ms. Liu Zhenjing and Mr. Wang Wenyu were harassed on December 2, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

37. [Laohekou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Xianglong Detained

Ms. Zhang Xianglong was arrested at her clinic by officers, including Mei Tianqiao, from Laohekou City Domestic Security Division and Zanyang Police Station on November 26, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. She refused to sign their documents.

The police ransacked her home and confiscated all her Falun Gong books. She was detained at Laohekou City No. 1 Detention Center for five days.

38. [Kuancheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Kong Lingjuan and Ms. Guo Feng'e Detained

Ms. Kong Lingjuan and Ms. Guo Feng'e are detained at Kuancheng County Detention Center.

39. [Helong City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Xinxian, Ms. Zheng Muzhi, Ms. Cheng Shuzhen, and Ms. Liu Huaying are detained in a Brainwashing Center set up by the 610 Office of Bajiazi Forestry Bureau in Helong City.

40. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Zhijun Detained

Officers from Huale Police Station went to Mr. Wu Zhijun's home with the intention of harassing him on December 2, 2015. However, he was not at home. The police then arrested his wife, Ms. Li Peizhen, and took her to the police station. After learning this, Mr. Wu went to that police station. Both of them were detained.

Ms. Li was released on December 3, and Mr. Wu is detained at Yuexiu District Detention Center.
