Additional Persecution News from China – December 14, 2015 (Part I, 25 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 44 were illegally arrested.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shuangli Mentally Disoriented Due to Torture

Ms. Li Shuangli, in her 40s, from the Fangshan District, was sentenced to four years in prison. Her husband proposed to divorce her at her trial. She was severely abused in the detention center, which caused her to be mentally disoriented.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Xing Zeling Arrested

Ms. Xing Zeling from the Tongzhou District was arrested by police and taken to the Dadushe Police Station on December 11, 2015. She was questioned for about an hour and then released.

3. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Lijun was arrested by officers from the Qingyuanli Police Station for handing out Falun Gong informational materials to a plainclothes officer in the Kangshunyuan Residential Community, Daxing District, in early December 2015. She was detained in the city detention center for 10 days. She has returned home.

Ms. Xia Chunfeng was arrested at the same time. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Du Yuqing and her sister were arrested and detained for five days for suing Jiang Zemin. They were released on December 8, 2015.

4. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Su Guiqiu was arrested by officers from the Haininglu Police Station in Beidaihe District on November 26, 2015. She was taken to the police station for questioning about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

Ms. Wen Suyan and Ms. Liu Maoxia were taken to the police station for questioning about their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.

Mr. Wang Shiqiang was also arrested on November 29, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Liqun Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Guo Liqun from the Shahepu Village in Fengrun District was arrested by officers from the Qishuzhuang Police Station and personnel from the Xinbaotai Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. for suing Jiang Zemin. He was taken to the Fengrun District Police Department.

6. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Chang Xi'e Arrested

Ms. Chang Xi'e, 38, from Jishan Village, Dongzhangbao Township, Feixiang County, Handan City, Hebei Province, was arrested at work in Zhengzhou City by local police in December 2015.

7. [Kuancheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Ruiling and Ms. Xu Xiaohua Arrested

Ms. Guo Ruiling and Ms. Xu Xiaohua were arrested by officers from the Manchu Autonomous County Police Department and the Kuancheng Police Station on the morning of December 11, 2015.

8. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Guo Yu Arrested

Mr. Guo Yu, an employee at the No. 2 Nanyang Petroleum Machinery Factory, was arrested and taken to the No. 4 Division of the Meixi Police Station on the evening of December 10, 2015.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Pujun Taken Into Custody

Mr. Li Pujun from Huangdao District was arrested at work by officers from the Zhuhailu Police Station on December 10, 2015. He was held in the Domestic Police Department.

10. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xue Tianshu Arrested

Mr. Xue Tianshu from Hexi Village, Zhuwu Town, was arrested by police on December 9, 2015.

11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ruan Shuming and Ms. Sun Shuhua Arrested

Mr. Run Shuming and Ms. Sun Shuhua from Yantai University were arrested by officers from the Yingzhoujie Police Station, Laishan District, on December 10, 2015. Ms. Sun was released that afternoon. Mr. Ruan was detained for 10 days.

12. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shufen and Ms. Wu Arrested

Ms. Li Shufen and Ms. Wu were arrested recently for telling people about Falun Gong.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Detained for 10 Days

Ms. Li from the Tianfu New Area was arrested by the Tianfu New Area police for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on December 6, 2015. She was detained for 10 days.

14. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tang Jianping and Wife Arrested

Mr. Tang Jianping and his non-practitioner wife were arrested by officers from the Huilong Police Station on December 10, 2015.

15. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Cuiyu Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Chen Cuiyu was arrested by Chen Suhua and other officers from the Dafeng District Police Department on December 7, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Chen is detained in the Tinghu District Detention Center.

16. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Zhou Zhiming and Ms. Zhou Zhifen Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Zhou Zhiming and Ms. Zhou Zhifen, in her 70s, were arrested at home by officers from the Taiciqiao Police Station on November 27, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Both practitioners were detained in the Nanming Detention Center for 10 days. They have returned home.

17. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Ming and Mr. Li Peng Detained

Ms. Li Ming, a teacher at the Mudanjiang Vocational Education Center, was arrested by Ran Jufeng and other officers from the Chang'an Police Department on December 11, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained in the Mudanjiang Detention Center for five days.

Mr. Li Peng, her younger brother, went to the police department demanding her release on the afternoon of December 10. He was taken into police custody. He was detained in the Mudanjiang Detention Center for five days.

Mr. Gao Zhigang, from the Farm 859, Jiansanjiang Authority, was arrested by the local police department on the afternoon of December 10, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Sun Lei Detained

Ms. Sun Lei from the Huinong District was arrested for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on December 11, 2015. She is detained in the Shizuishan Detention Center.

20. [Tianjin] Ms. Ma Enmin Detained

Ms. Ma Enmin from the Hexi District was arrested recently by officers from the Hexi District Police Department. She was detained for 15 days.

21. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hong Ruisheng Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Hong Ruisheng was arrested by officers from the Bajingjie Police Station in Heping District on December 22, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. He is detained in the Heping District Detention Center.

22. [Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Zhao Wenying and Husband Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin; Whereabouts are Unknown

Ms. Zhao Wenying, 29, and her husband were arrested by local police on December 7, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The couple's whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Jiuquan City, Gansu Province] Thirteen Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Thirteen practitioners, who filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, were arrested by officers from the Yumen Oilfield Police Department since October 2015. Their homes were ransacked.

The practitioners are: Ms. Li Wenmei, Ms. Li Wenjun, Ms. Li Wenming, Ms. Yang Cuifang, Ms. Liang Mengyue, Ms. Wang Yuqin, Ms. Xu Huifang, Ms. Li Shufang, Ms. Chen Xiangying, Ms. Zhang Cuifang, Ms. Zhang Yuping, Ms. Zhang Guilan, and Ms. Jia Xiu'e.

The lengths of their detentions were 5, 10, or 15 days.

24. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lianli, Mr. Lu Shengtao, and Mr. Wen Kaijian were arrested by Li Daoyuan and officers from the Xiangyang Town Police Station on December 9, 2015. The three practitioners have returned home.

25. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Mr. You Anping, Mr. Sha Jintang, Mr. Feng Dianguo, Mr. Wang Zhiguo, Ms. Yin Xiuzhi, Ms. Yan Haiyan, Mr. Guo Hao, Ms. Liu Qiyun and Ms. Lin were arrested by officers from the Jianping County Police Department and various local police stations on November 9, 2015.

Practitioners who have been released are: Ms. Yan Haiyan, who was detained in the Chaoyang City Detention Center for 15 days. Mr. Feng Dianguo, who was detained for 30 days. Ms. Liu Qiyun and Mr. Guo Hao were released for health reasons the day of the arrest.

Practitioners who remain in custody are: Mr. You Anping, in the Chaoyang Detention Center; Mr. Sha Jintang and Mr. Wang Zhiguo, in the Jianping County Detention Center; Ms. Yin Xiuzhi, in a detention center in Panjin City, and Ms. Lin, in the Huludao Brainwashing Center.
