(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 41 cities or counties in 14 provinces. According to this report, 38 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 47 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cheng Lanfeng Detained

Ms. Cheng Lanfeng, 44, and her daughter, from Shuangmiao Village, Mazhuang Town, in the Daiyue District, were arrested by officers from the Yiyang Police Station when they were handing out Falun Gong informational calendars in a village in Yiyang Town, Feicheng City, on December 6, 2015.

The two practitioners were taken to the police station. They were ordered to squat down on the ground while being interrogated. The officers also brought in a large wolfhound to intimidate them. Ms. Cheng's daughter was terrified. She was released after signing paperwork. Ms. Cheng refused to sign anything. She was taken to the Tai'an City Detention Center that day. When her husband went to the detention center to visit her, the guards would not allow him to see his wife.

2. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Haiyuan Detained

A group of police officers broke into Ms. Dong Haiyuan's home in Cuizhongwang Village and ransacked it on November 25, 2015. They confiscated a large number of items. Riot police were called in to take her to the Gaobeidian Detention Center. A few days later she was transferred to the Qingyuan Detention Center in Baoding City.

Ms. Dong's father has since become paralyzed and bed-ridden. He cannot take care of himself. Her father-in-law developed high blood pressure, due to worrying about Ms. Dong under detention. He is now bedridden and has to take medicine.

3. [Feixiang County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Zhihuai Detained

Mr. Li Zhihuai from Leimatai Village and an 80-year-old practitioner were arrested by Yan Liyue, township Party secretary, and officers from the Yuangu Township Police Station when they were handing out calendars with Falun Gong content on the afternoon of December 9, 2015. The elderly practitioner was released. Mr. Li was taken into police custody.

Seven officers from the Chengguan Police Station and the Yuangu Township Police Station broke into Mr. Li's home to ransack it the following morning. Ms. Li was placed in criminal detention for 12 days. He has to pay 200 yuan per day.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Fengxia's Husband Dies Due to Persecution

Officers from the Zhangfang Town Police Station broke into Ms. Zhang Fengxia's home on the morning of November 27, 2015 on the grounds of verifying her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. After questioning her, the officers wanted to take Ms. Zhang to the police station. She refused to go with them. The officers pulled out handcuffs to threaten her.

Traumatized, her husband Mr. Wang Zhankui, passed out. He regained consciousness only after emergency rescue. He died the next morning.

Their 34-year-old son was in extreme shock. He had to undergo heart surgery eight days after his father passed away, which cost the family tens of thousands of yuan.

5. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shan Jihua Detained 130 Days

Ms. Shan Jihua was arrested by officers from the Gaomi City Domestic Secretary Division and the Kanjia Town Police Station for suing Jiang Zemin. She was held in the Weifang Detention Center for 130 days. When her family sent clothes to the detention center, the guards refused to accept the clothes and would not allow them to meet her.

6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. He Wenxi Held in Prison

Mr. He Wenxi, 71, a retired mine worker, from Jiahe Village, Beifeng Township, Daming County was arrested by officers from the Daming Police Department in early November 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. He is held in the Wandi Prison in Daming County. No family visits have been allowed. His son was extorted 5,000 yuan by the Daming Police Department.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Xiuqing's Family Harassed

Officers from the local police station went to harass Ms. Gao Xiuqing on the evening of October 27, 2015. Ms. Gao did not open the door. The officers went to her son's home the following day, arrested her nephew who was at home, and ransacked the place. They confiscated all their Falun Dafa books, a computer, and other items.

Later the officers took her son, her daughter-in-law, and her 4-year-old grandson to the Xiaowuji Police Station in Shibalidian Township for questioning. Her daughter-in-law was frightened and did not go to work for more than two weeks. Her son was also traumatized and became ill. He had to have intravenous infusions for more than 10 days.

8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Xiuyan Taken Into Police Custody

Ms. Li Xiuyan from the Hongshan District was reported to police when she handed out calendars with Falun Gong contents near the Shizishan Police Station on the morning of December 14, 2015. She is held in the police station.

9. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Cai Guijiao and Mr. Yan Chongxi Detained

Ms. Cai Guijiao and Mr. Yan Chongxi were arrested when telling people about Falun Gong on November 18, 2015. Both practitioners were transferred to the Yunxi Detention Center. No family visits have been allowed.

10. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tan Shaojuan Displaced

Liu Maosheng and two other officers from the Shanxia Police Station in the Erdaojiang District broke into Ms. Tan Shaojuan's home on the evening of November 25, 2015. They confiscated a wall calendar with Falun Gong information. Ms. Tan was not home at that time. She has since become displaced.

11. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Xiangju Detained

Ms. Liu Xiangju was arrested by officers from the Chengjiao Township Police Station while distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Xiawanzi Village in Chengjiao Township on December 10, 2015. The officers ransacked her home when no one was at home. They confiscated all her Falun Dafa books, printed materials, 9,000 yuan in cash, and 600 yuan worth of paper bills with Falun Gong facts printed on them. Ms. Liu was taken to the Shenyang City Detention Center.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Shuxiong Detained

Ms. Jin Shuxiong, 39, was arrested by officers from the Gaoxinyuan District Police Station while talking to people about Falun Gong and posting Falun Gong informational materials on the evening of September 2, 2015. The officers found her address after searching her bag. They ransacked her home and confiscated all her Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and several copies of Minghui Weekly. Ms. Jin was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center. She refused to wear an inmate uniform. She was held in a small cell. She has not returned home.

13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Ming Harassed

Three officers from the Gudi Town Police Station in Hanting Town ransacked Mr. Liu Ming's home in Xingjiachangtuan Village on December 8, 2015 on the grounds of verifying his lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. They confiscated three copies of Falun Dafa books. They also took Mr. Liu to the police station to interrogate him while taking written notes.

14. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Thirteen Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wang Guihua, Ms. Peng Xiuqiong, Ms. Wang Hua, Ms. Gao Qiongying, Ms. Xie Siqun, and Ms. Zeng Jingzhi were arrested between November 1 and November 3, 2015. They were taken to a brainwashing center. Of the six practitioners, Ms. Zeng was released three days later. The other five practitioners remain in the brainwashing center.

Mr. Chen Yongjian was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center by officers from the Domestic Secretary Division on November 7, 2015. He has not returned home.

Ms. Zhou Rongzhen, who has disabilities, was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center by officers from the Domestic Secretary Division on November 28, 2015. She has not returned home.

Ms. Xie Dongyun, Ms. Li Yunfang, Ms. Wu Bangrong, Ms. Wen Xia, and another practitioner with the last name Chen were arrested when studying Falun Gong teachings on November 30, 2015. Several plainclothes officers ransacked Ms. Xie's home the following day and confiscated drafts of the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, a copy of Zhuan Falun, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and printed materials. The five practitioners were taken to a brainwashing center.

15. [Jurong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Song and Ms. Qu Beixiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Song was arrested by seven or eight plainclothes officers in Chuncheng Town on December 14, 2015. Ms. Qu Beixiang was also arrested at home by seven or eight plainclothes officers on the same day.

16. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Aihua Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Wang Aihua was arrested on December 9, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She has been officially placed under arrest.

17. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Li Xikun and his wife were arrested on December 11, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The couple was detained for 10 days. Ms. Ma Guizhi was again arrested by officers from the Xinxing Police Station for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained for five days.

18. [Laohekou City, Hubei Province] Mr. Gong Guoqing Arrested

Mr. Gong Guoqing, an employee at the Jiangshan Machinery Factory, was arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

19. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Hanying Taken Into Police Custody

Ms. Xu Hanying was taken into police custody at the Hehuachi Police Station on the afternoon of December 14, 2015.

20. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Chang Lizhong on Hunger Strike

Mr. Chang Lizhong is on a hunger strike in the Qinhuangdao Detention Center.

21. [Kuandian County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Kang Li Prosecuted Again

The Kuandian Domestic Security Division filed charges against Ms. Kang Li to the Kuandian Procuratorate on December 9, 2015.

22. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yuzhen Prosecuted

Ms. Wang Yuzhen, 75, was prosecuted by the Shahekou District Procuratorate in November 2015.

23. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Daorong Taken to Prison

Ms. Li Daorong was arrested on October 16, 2015. She was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Shahekou District Court. She was taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison in early December 2015.

24. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Liqun Taken Into Police Custody

Mr. Guo Liqun, from Shahepu Village, Qishuzhuang Town, the Fengrun District, works at the Baotai Steel Group Co. He was lured at work by officers from the Qishuzhuang Town Police Station to go to the police station on the morning of December 12, 2015. He was arrested and taken to the Fengrun District Detention Center.

His wife and mother went to the police station demanding his release. They were told that Mr. Guo's lawsuit against Jiang Zemin was intercepted and sent to the Fengrun District Police Department, which in turn forwarded it to the Qishuzhuang Town Police Station.

25. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhai Shuyun Arrested

Ms. Zhai Shuyun was arrested by officers from the Dehui City Police Department on December 14, 2015.

26. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Luo Zirong and Ms. Liu Xiaofang Arrested

Mr. Luo Zirong and Ms. Liu Xiaofang were reported to the police when they were handing out desk calendars with Falun Gong content on the morning of December 14, 2015. They were arrested by officers from the Renhe Domestic Security Division. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Dafa books and an MP3.

27. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Yanyun Detained

Ms. Sun Yanyun was reported to the police by someone when she was giving out calendars with Falun Gong content near her home in December 2015. She was arrested by officers from the Xingren Police Station. After being held in the police station for two days, she was taken to the Yuelou Detention Center.

28. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Xianzhi and Ms. Mao Xudong Detained

Ms. Li Xianzhi and Ms. Mao Xudong were arrested by officers form the Huopai Police Station on December 12, 2015 for telling people about Falun Gong. Both practitioners are held in the Xiangzhou District Administrative Detention Center.

A group of officers from the Xiangzhou District 610 Office, the Fancheng District Domestic Security Division, and the Migong Police Station ransacked Ms. Li's home on December 13. They confiscated a few copies of Minghui Weekly and Falun Dafa books. The officers ransacked Ms. Mao's home on the morning of December 14. It was reported that they found nothing.

29. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wan Meijia Detained

Three officers from the Zhaolin Police Station in the Daoli District showed up at Ms. Wan Meijia's workplace and arrested her around 9:00 a.m. on December 16, 2015 on the grounds of investigating her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. She was taken to the Yaziquan Detention Center an hour later.

30. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuyun Taken to Prison

Guo Xiaodong, director of the Liujing Township Police Station and six or seven officers led by Cheng Jing, Jinjiazhuang Village Party secretary, broke into Ms. Zhang Xiuyun's home and arrested her on the afternoon on December 6, 2015 on the grounds of her filing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. They confiscated all Falun Dafa books and printed materials. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Qingyuan Prison.

At the same time the officers ransacked four other practitioners’ homes in the village, and confiscated Falun Dafa books and printed materials. The officers harassed the practitioners numerous times and disrupted their lives.

31. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Chunmei Detained

Ms. Zhao Chunmei from Liulinshui Village, Shijiaying Township, the Fangshan District, was recorded by surveillance cameras when she distributed Falun Gong informational materials on the street on December 7, 2015. She was arrested at home. The officers ransacked her home. She is detained in the Sujiatun Detention Center in the Haidian District.

32. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ye Fungqun Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Ye Fengqun is held in a brainwashing center.

33. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Yuping and Ms. Fan Chunhua Arrested

Ms. Li Yuping and Ms. Fan Chunhua were arrested when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on December 14, 2015.

34. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Han Lin Arrested

Mr. Han Lin was arrested by local police when she was talking to people about Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong informational materials on December 5, 2015. The officers took her home and conducted a search. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and a music player. She was taken to the police station.

35. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Xiu'e Detained

Ms. Chen Xiu'e was arrested at home by officers from the Wucheng Police Station on December 14, 2015.

Mr. Zhang Jiayu, his wife Ms. Zhang Guiying, Mr. Liu Chengji, his wife Ms. Xing Ximei, Mr. Zhang Xueyou, Ms. Liu Naifen, and Mr. Ren Shuquan were harassed at home by officers from the Andi Town Police Station during November 2015. The officers questioned them about their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. They also videotaped practitioners, forcibly took their fingerprints, and forced them to sign paperwork. The officers took Falun Dafa books before leaving.

37. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Mr. Xin Shichen and Ms. Qu Shuhua Arrested

Mr. Xin Shichen and Ms. Qu Shuhua were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

38. [Linze County, Gansu Province] Ms. Tang Yun Taken Into Police Custody

Ms. Tang Yun was arrested at her workplace in the Zhangye City Huachen Market by officers from the Linze County 610 Office on December 10, 2015. She has been held in the Linze Police Department.

39. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Quansuo Deprived of His Right to Teach

Mr. Zhang Quansuo was not allowed to teach by officials at his work unit after he filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

40. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Mr. Chen Zhanquan and Wife Ms. Li Yunhua Arrested

Mr. Chen Zhanquan and his wife Ms. Li Yunhua from Yulintou Village were arrested by officers from the Sujiadian Town Police Station on the morning of December 15, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

41. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Approximately twelve officers from the Meixian District Police Department and the Chengjiang Police Station broke into Mr. Zhu Xiansheng's home on the afternoon of December 14, 2015. They arrested Mr. Zhu, Ms. Li Xiufang, and Ms. Zhang Meiming, who were visiting. They confiscated a computer. The three practitioners were taken to the Meixian Police Department. Ms. Li returned home that night. Mr. Zhu was taken to the Meixian District Detention Center.

42. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Xian and Mr. Liu Wei Detained

Ms. Li Xian from the Erjiatun area was tricked into leaving home and was arrested by three officers from the Liming Police Station on the evening of December 8, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers extorted 1,000 yuan from her. She is detained in the Qiqihar Detention Center for 10 days.

Mr. Liu Wei was arrested by officers from the Guangrong Road Police Station on the afternoon of December 14, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. He is held in the Qiqihar City Detention Center.

43. [Tianjin] Several Practitioners Harassed

Between mid-November and early December 2015, officers from the Xinlicun Police Station in the Dongli District harassed Ms. Xing Fengzhen, Ms. Liu Wenhui, and Ms. Guo Xiulan at home after they filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. The officers confiscated articles by the founder of Falun Gong.

44. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhu Yuling Arrested

Ms. Zhu Yuling, in her 40s, was arrested at home by personnel from the Security Section of the Jiangxi Province Transportation Company on December 15, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

45. [Tianjin] Mr. Ma Keyong Arrested

Mr. Ma Keyong was arrested on December 15, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

46. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Ming Arrested

Five Domestic Security officers broke into Mr. Yang Ming's home on the afternoon of December 15, 2015. They confiscated a computer worth about 2,000 yuan, Falun Dafa books, printed materials, a car worth 80,000 yuan, and extorted 5,000 yuan in cash from his family. They also arrested Mr. Yang.

The officers ransacked Mr. Xu Kaifu's home three times in the No. 10 Team for suing Jiang Zemin. They confiscated Falun Dafa books.

Mr. Tian Yajun was arrested at work by officers from the Tiangezhuang Police Department in the Fangshan District on November 26, 2015.
49. [Guidong County, Hunan Province] Several Practitioners Detained

Several practitioners went to Liuyuan Township to tell people about Falun Gong on November 30, 2015. They were arrested by Li Haijun, secretary of the Liuyuan Township Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and other people. Ms. Zhang Zhennan, Mr. Wu Yunhua, Ms. Deng Yueqiong, Ms. Fu Aiyun, and an elderly lady in her 80s were detained for 15 days. Ms. Deng's door was pried open, and her home was ransacked when no one was at home.
