(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 22 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Yujun Detained

Ms. Wang Yujun was arrested by officers from the Taian Town Police Station on May 5, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was tried on July 26, 2016. She is being held at the Yongchuan City Detention Center and is denied family visits.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Five practitioners were arrested on July 21, 2016, and their arrests were approved. They are being held at the Nong'an County Detention Center. The detained practitioners include Mr. Chen Wei, Mr. Dai Zhongquan, Ms. Wang Caixia, Mr. Liu Dongyang, and Mr. Ding Fuhua.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Fourteen Practitioners Arrested

Fourteen practitioners were arrested on June 28, 2016. Four were released later and the rest are still being detained.

Nine of the practitioners are facing trial, including Ms. Liu Renqiu, Ms. Jin Shuyu, Ms. Sheng Jie, Ms. Wang Hongyu, Mr. Yu Yongfu, Ms. Gu Shuchun, Ms. Wang Huixuan, Mr. Liu Daixue, and Mr. Wang Jinrong.

4. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Wang Qingnian Couple and Mr. Sang Chengzhou Arrested

Mr. Wang Qingnian and Mr. Sang Chengzhou were arrested on September 11, 2016. Mr. Wang's wife was arrested at home afterward and the police confiscated some personal belongings.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Cui Ronghua Arrested

Mr. Cui Ronghua was arrested at home by officers from the Taoyuan Road Police Station on September 10, 2016. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other belongings. He was taken to the police station.

6. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Chunxia Arrested

Ms. Zhang Chunxia was recently arrested.

7. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Peiying Detained

Ms. Guo Peiying was recently arrested and taken to the Baicheng Town Detention Center.

8. [Chongqing] Mr. Tian Weicai Detained

Mr. Tian Weicai was arrested on September 7, 2016. He is being detained at the Jiulongpo District Brainwashing Center.

9. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Yuqin and Ms. Xiao Detained

Ms. Chen Yuqin and Ms. Xiao were arrested and taken to a detention center on September 2, 2016.

10. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Whereabouts of Mr. Zhang Xiaocai and Ms. Zhang Xiufang Unknown

Mr. Zhang Xiaocai and Ms. Zhang Xiufang were arrested by officers from the Damoujia Town Police Station on August 29, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Qinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Lu Haozhen and Ms. Dong Shiliu Detained

Ms. Lu Haozhen and Ms. Dong Shiliu were arrested at home on August 22, 2016, and taken to the Jiaozuo City Detention Center. Both have previously been harassed and arrested several times, and Ms. Lu was imprisoned for four years.

12. [Qinyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Tian Changqing Imprisoned

Mr. Tian Changqing, 44, was arrested again on September 1, 2016. He was taken to a prison.

Mr. Tian was subjected to three years of forced labor and five years of imprisonment.

13. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Chenglin Harassed

Officers from the Maquanzi Town Police Station went to Mr. Zhao Chenglin's home twice on September 6, 2016. Mr. Zhao was not at home. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a copy of the informational brochure, Minghui Weekly, and an audio player. His wife got back the audio player.

14. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Hou Lijie Detained

Ms. Hou Lijie was arrested at home by eight officers from the Jianggan District Domestic Security Division and the Jianqiao Police Station on September 1, 2015. The police ransacked her home. She was detained at the Jianqiao Police Station for 20 hours.

She was again arrested at home by approximately 20 officers from the Hangzhou Police Department and the Xihu District Domestic Security Division on August 16, 2016. The police confiscated computers, printers, and Falun Gong books. She was detained at the Yuquan Police Station for 16 hours, during which time she was forced to give her fingerprints and have her photo taken.

Six officers monitored her home around the clock from August 28 to September 8 and she was not allowed to go out.
