1. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhu Chunxiu and Ms. Li Ganming Arrested

Ms. Zhu Chunxiu and Ms. Li Ganming were reported to a residential committee for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of September 21, 2016. Personnel from the residential committee took the two practitioners to Zhanqian Road Police Station. Ms. Li was brought home by her family. Ms. Zhu was sentenced to 10 days detention and is held in Hubin Detention Center.

2. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wan Fuchai and Ms. Zhao Xuefeng Arrested

Ms. Wan Fuchai and Ms. Zhao Xuefeng from Nanle County were arrested by officers from Nanle County Domestic Security Division on September 21, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Remain in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Xu Xiuling, Ms. Lu Chunxia, Ms. Chen Maohua, and Ms. Liu Guangli are still detained in a brainwashing center.

4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Xiuli Tortured in Chaoyang Detention Center

Ms. Meng Xiuli is imprisoned in Chaoyang City Detention Center. Because she refused to recite the “reporting words” on August 26, 2016, she was stripped naked and beaten by inmates, as initiated by prison guards. She had several bruises as a result. She was also placed on a bed with her arms and legs stretched out in a spread-eagle position and cuffed to the bed. She was also kept in solitary confinement.

Ms. Gong Huamei was arrested by plainclothes officers for distributing Falun Gong materials on September 16, 2016. She returned home after seven days of detention.

Ms. Yao from Nanguan District was arrested by officers from Qingming Street Police Station for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on September 2, 2016.

7. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Deng Shi'e and Ms. Liu Arrested

Ms. Deng Shi'e and Ms. Liu, who works in Heyuan City, were arrested by officers from Yuancheng District Police Department, Yuancheng District Domestic Security Division, Yuancheng 610 Office, and Huizhou 610 Office on September 24, 2016. Their homes were ransacked.

8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Cuilian Arrested

Ms. Liu Cuilian from Yangluo Street Neighborhood, Xinzhou District, was arrested at noon on September 24, 2016. Her whereabouts is unknown.

9. [Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Liu Minchao Taken to Nanchang Women's Prison

Ms. Liu Minchao from Xingan County was given a one-year prison term and taken to Nanchang Women's Prison in the first-half of 2016. She was arrested in August 2015. Her home was ransacked.

10. [Jiuquan City, Gansu Province] Ms. Shen Jinyu Arrested

Ms. Shen Jinyu from Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region was arrested in Jiuquan City on September 18, 2016. She was taken to Jiayuguan City.

Mr. Shan Furong, an employee of Jiangshan Machinery Plant in Laohekou City, was recently secretly sentenced to four years in prison.

12. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hou Lianying Detained

Ms. Hou Lianying, from Luwang District, Shahe Town, Laizhou City, was arrested and taken to Laizhou Detention Center.
