(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 30 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 43 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Jiang Xianfeng, 60, was arrested on July 21, 2016. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Wanyaoshu Detention Center.

2. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Zhenghua Arrested

Mr. Wang Zhenghua was arrested by officers from the Shuangshan Police Station, Lishan District, in mid-August 2016. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books.

3. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Zongjun and Ms. Wang Xuelan Arrested

Mr. Li Zongjun and Ms. Wang Xuelan from Shengjing Town were arrested by officers from the Shengjing Town Police Station on the afternoon of September 27, 2016, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Weishan tourist attractions. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books and materials. Mr. Li was released because of physical discomfort. Ms. Wang was taken to the Zhonggong Detention Center in Jinan City.

4. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Hongcui Arrested

Ms. Ma Hongcui from Jinxiang County was arrested and taken to the local police station on September 13, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Lumu Township, Shan County.

5. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Cheng, and Mr. Li were arrested on September 26, 2016. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Han Junhuan was arrested on the morning of September 27, 2016.

6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tie Zhijie Detained

Mr. Tie Zhijie, an employee at the Daqing City Preliminary Drilling Company, was arrested by the political head and other officers from the Chengfeng Police Department on the afternoon of September 25, 2016. He was detained for five days in the Daqing City No. 2 Detention Center.

7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Qi Yanmei Arrested

Ms. Qi Yanmei from Ongniud Banner was arrested by Liu Caijun, an officer from the Ongniud Banner Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Wudan Town Police Station at noon on September 26, 2016. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and a music player. She was released that evening because she vomited.

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Du Jiqun and Ms. Yu Lanfang Released on Bail

Mr. Du Jiqun and Ms. Yu Lanfang, from Jiulong Neighborhood, Fangzi District, were tried for a second time by the Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Court on the afternoon of September 27, 2016.

Mr. Du was given a four year prison term, and Ms. Yu a three year prison term. They were each fined 5,000 yuan.

Mr. Du and Ms. Yu were arrested by officers from the Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Domestic Security Division on February 22, 2016, for setting up display boards about suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Du was released on bail on March 18, 2016. Ms. Yu was officially placed under arrest on March 29, 2016. She had been taken to the Weifang City Detention Center. She was released on bail on September 14, 2016.

9. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Wengang Give a Four-Year Prison Term

Mr. Li Wengang, 66, was recently sentenced to four years in prison.

10. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qi Baizhi Detained

Ms. Qi Baizhi from Fularji District was arrested at the Qiqihar Train Station by officers from the Qiqihar City Domestic Security Division when on her way to visit her family in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, on September 24, 2016. She was taken to the Hongbaoshi Police Station, Fularji District, and then transferred to the Qiqihar City Detention Center, where she was detained for 15 days.

11. [Houma City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Yao Haizhong Detained

Mr. Yao Haizhong was arrested by officers from the Nonferrous Metals Company's Domestic Security Division on September 18, 2016 for distributing Falun Gong materials. His home was ransacked, and he was taken to the Yuanqu Detention Center.

12. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Long'na Secretly Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Wang Long'na was secretly sentenced to a three-year prison term on March 4, 2016. She is being held in the Jinan Prison.

She was arrested by officers from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office on August 28, 2015 and taken to the Yantai City Detention Center.

13. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Huiliang and Son Arrested

Ms. Xie Huiliang and her son, from Taowei Village, Yunlu Town, Jiedong District, were arrested by a large number of armed police officers from the Jiedong County Police Department and the Yunlu Town Police Station on the afternoon of September 27, 2016. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Gong books and a computer, among other items.

14. [Qihe County, Shandong Province] Ms. Huang Yuping and Mr. Wei Lesheng Secretly Sentenced

Ms. Huang Yuping and Mr. Wei Lesheng were secretly tried and sentenced by the Qihe County Court without their families being notified on August 12, 2016. Both practitioners were given a three-year prison term. Currently, both practitioners remain in the Dezhou City Detention Center.

15. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hua Ping Arrested

Ms. Hua Ping from Hongtoushan Town, Qingyuan County, was going to visit her daughter in Shenyang on September 28, 2016, when she was arrested at the Cangshi Train Station security check point for carrying Falun Gong materials in her bag. She was taken to the Nanzamu Railway Police Station of Xinbin County, and then transferred to the Hongtoushan Town Police Station.

16. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Jinghan Detained

Mr. Liu Jinghan from Qingliangshan Town, Xiuyan County, was arrested on September 26, 2016 and taken to a detention center. His computer was confiscated.

17. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Shuling Detained

Ms. Zhao Shuling from Nankou Town, Changping District, was arrested by officers from the Nankou Police Station on September 23, 2016 for posting Falun Gong truth-clarifying stickers around town. She was taken to the Changping Detention Center.

18. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Haifeng Detained

Mr. Li Haifeng was arrested at home by officers from the Chang'an Police Department on the afternoon of September 27, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin. He was held in the Mudanjiang City Detention Center for five days.

19. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Li Fubin and Wife Ms. Zheng Shu Detained

Mr. Li Fubin and his wife Ms. Zheng Shu were arrested on September 3, 2016. Mr. Li was taken to the No. 1 Team in the Xiguoyuan Detention Center, and Ms. Zheng to the Jiuzhou Detention Center. Ms. Zheng was taken to the Xinqiao Hospital because of high blood pressure on September 27, 2016.

20. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Four Practitioners Arrested—Whereabouts of Two are Unknown

Ms. Chen Huafang, Ms. Lu Mei, and two other practitioners from Xixia District were arrested on September 1, 2016. The two unnamed practitioners have returned home. The whereabouts of Ms. Chen and Ms. Lu are unknown.

21. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Hu Cuilan Detained

Ms. Hu Cuilan was arrested and taken to a detention center on September 22, 2016.

22. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Han Jiansi and his wife, Mr. Jin Guanghao and his wife, and two other practitioners were arrested on September 28, 2016.

23. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Du Xin and Ms. Xiaojing Detained

Mr. Du Xin and Ms. Xiaojing were arrested by officers from the Xinbin Domestic Security Division and the Yongling Police Station for producing table calendars in Ms. Xiaojing's home on September 28, 2016. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated three computers, three printers, three boxes of paper, and paper cutters. Both practitioners were taken to the Fushun Detention Center.

24. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Mingxiu Followed and Arrested

Ms. Liu Mingxiu from Yongchuan County, Bishan District, was followed and arrested by plainclothes officers for distributing Falun Gong materials on September 21, 2016.

25. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhou, Ms. Liao Guoqing, and Ms. Guan from Huidong County were arrested near Ms. Zhou's home on the afternoon of September 24, 2016.

26. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hou Lianying and Ms. Xu Guangqin Arrested

Ms. Hou Lianing from Luwang area, Shahe Town, Laizhou City, was arrested on September 23, 2016.

Ms. Xu Guangqin from Dongdaiguzhuang Village, Tushan Town, Laizhou City, was arrested at noon on September 26, 2016.

27. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Xiaogang and Wife Ms. Li Yulan Sentenced to Prison and Fined

Mr. Yang Xiaogang and his wife Ms. Li Yulan were secretly tried by the Xiangyang District Court in the Jiamusi Detention Center on September 1, 2016. Each was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan.

The couple was arrested on January 22, 2016. Mr. Yang was released after 15 days of detention. Ms. Li has remained in the detention center. Mr. Yang was arrested again on May 23, 2016.

28. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Wenshuang and Mr. Zhang Mengjie Arrested

Mr. Li Wenshuang and Mr. Zhang Mengjie were arrested on September 26, 2016.

29. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Shihui Arrested

Ms. Tang Shihui was arrested by officers from the Hechuan District 610 Office and Yunmen Town Government staff on September 26, 2016.

Ms. Yang Yaping from Jiangsu Province was given a six-year-and-six-month prison term by the Minhang District Court in Shanghai on September 27, 2016.

Ms. Xu Baoyue and other practitioners were arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials and calendars, and talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of September 26, 2016. Ms. Xu was detained in a detention center for ten days.

Ms. Lu Cuilan from Qinglong County was recently arrested by the criminal police. She was taken to the Qinglong County Detention Center.

35. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zheng Fengyu Arrested

Ms. Zheng Fengyu from Fuyu County was arrested by officers from the Tiedong Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong on September 27, 2016.
