(Minghui.org) After studying the “20th Anniversary Fa Teaching,” I came to understand that Master has paved the way for every Falun Dafa practitioner—study the Fa, send forth righteous thoughts and clarify the facts in order to save sentient beings.
The following is my personal understanding.
Fulfilling Our Missions
If we don’t step forward to tell people about Falun Dafa and the persecution, we will not be able to see the incomparably magnificent new world that Master has prepared for us. If we cannot meet Master’s requirements, everything that he has prepared for us will be in ruins. Countless numbers of our relatives are in the heavens, longing to see us again. If we cannot make progress in our cultivation, they will be destroyed. They are anxious!
It was they who put their trust in us to come to Earth as their representatives to make a connection with Master, obtain the Fa and save them.
If we follow the path arranged by Master, but don't have strong righteous thoughts, the old forces will try to interfere and disrupt us, affecting our progress in cultivation.
We must rectify ourselves in line with the Fa as soon as we find anything wrong in our cultivation. By doing so, we will be able to make Master and our relatives in the heavens less worried.
Overcoming the Obstacles
Sometimes, when we don’t study the Fa well the old forces will make us fall. We need to be diligent in Fa study and send forth righteous thoughts more often. This will make us strong enough to make progress in cultivation. We should avoid becoming depressed and despondent when we make mistakes, as this will play into the hands of the old forces.
Adverse weather conditions shouldn't deter from going out to save sentient beings. Remember that Master is with us. As long as we trust Master and the Fa, Master will shelter us from the bad elements and will help us pull through.
It is possible that some practitioners will be mesmerized by the beautiful scenes, yield to temptation, enjoy comfort, and pursue “the good life.” They forget their original intentions and don’t want to continue in cultivation. If we cannot handle cultivation and human sentiment well, we will be dragged down.
Many of us cannot let go of sentiment when family members pass away. Some practitioners stopped cultivating for a few years after their parents passed away and they became depressed. Not until they experienced a serious illness did they realize that they are cultivators with a mission to save sentient beings.
In order to reach our final goal smoothly, Master requires us to share and study the Fa together, let go of human attachments, and save sentient beings by working well together.
In practice, some of our practitioners can work very well on their own, but when it comes to teamwork, they are often in disputes, have disagreements and become angry with each other. They fail to play a positive role in saving sentient beings, as such behavior weakens the effect. At the same time, it plays into the hands of the old forces, looking for opportunities to drag us down.
When it comes to teamwork, we should get rid of our egos, pay attention to others’ points of view, be considerate, continually look within, and get rid of human attachments. By doing so, we will walk more smoothly on our journey to help Master in Fa-rectification.
Working Well Together
One evening after a storm, a few of us were going to go out to put up posters about Dafa as planned. Two practitioners suggested that we do it on another day, as the surfaces might be too wet for the adhesive to stick. However, I suggested that we could wipe the surfaces with a cloth to dry it first.
Another practitioner said, “We've planned this a while ago. This evening another group will do the same thing in another village. It would be a shame if we don’t stick to our plan.”
We finally decided to go ahead and try it.
The places where we planned to put up the posters had CCTV monitors there, but due to the rain, we were able to use our umbrellas to hide what we were doing.
We didn't encounter any problems, and I felt warm in my heart. Master arranged the best for us. The weather was very good, with a bright and round moon in the sky, which lit our way home. We felt Master was encouraging us.
I was moved by other practitioners’ dedication during the whole process. The practitioner driving us took us to various places where we could put up the posters. He did this at his own expense.
While other practitioners got out of the van to put up the posters, he sent forth righteous thoughts to help.
Another practitioner used his time off work to prepare the posters. Despite being tired, he slept only two hours to get them ready in time.
Two female practitioners, put up the posters quickly and sent forth righteous thoughts for other practitioners. They also watched the surrounding areas and often cautioned practitioners when anyone approached.
I was moved to tears by these kind and courageous practitioners! It is such a great predestined relationship that we can cultivate together in Dafa and work together as a team!
Knowing that we cannot see each other after we reach consummation, I feel I must cherish every opportunity to work with fellow practitioners.
I sincerely wish that each practitioner cherish every single day, study the Fa more often, work to rectify ourselves in line with Dafa. We must work well together, encourage each other and accomplish the mission Master has given us.
