(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 were illegally arrested.
Ms. Liu Fengxia was arrested on November 10, 2016, and sentenced several days later.
Ms. Liu was arrested, along with Mr. Zhang Jiguo in 2014, for using paper currency with information about Falun Gong written on the bills. Ms. Liu was released and Mr. Zhang was detained and later sentenced to a four year prison term.
Ms. Yang Dingyu's home was ransacked by officers from the Mengyang Town Police Station on November 9, 2016. The police confiscated Falun Gong books.
Ms. Zheng Linghua was arrested on October 19, 2016, for talking to her fellow students about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is still being held in the Mianyang City Detention Center.
Ms. Liu Hong is being held in the Wendeng Detention Center.

Ms. Sun Meihua, in her sixties, was arrested by officers from the Dongyuan Police Station on November 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home. She is being held in the Changyi Detention Center.
Ms. Jiao Hongmei was arrested by officers from the Hongmen Police Station on November 10, 2016, and taken to the Xinxiang Detention Center.

Mr. Zhou Dunwang and two of his family members were arrested in early November 2016. His home was ransacked by officers from Macheng City. His workplace was ransacked on November 10.
Ms. Yin Shengmei was arrested by officers from the Linjiang Police Station on October 28, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, an MP3 player, an MP4 player, DVDs, and other personal belongings.
She was held in the Wuyishan Detention Center for about seven days. She was released, but is being monitored around the clock.

Ms. Wang Shufang was arrested at home by officers from the Xianglujiao Police Station on October 31, 2016. Her non-practitioner husband was arrested and later released. She was taken to the Jinnanlu Rehabilitation Center that evening, where she was kept in solitary confinement because she refused to wear the center uniform.
The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a printer, a computer, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Song Guiyun, 65, was arrested on June 19, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She told her family that the prison guards deprived her of sleep, refused to let her wear shoes, and slapped her face.
She was recently sentenced to a four-and-a-half year prison term for refusing to renounce Falun Gong.
This is not the first time that she was targeted for her faith. Prior to her latest arrest, she had been arrested seven times and incarcerated for a total of 11 years in different facilities.
Five Falun Gong practitioners were arrested on November 9, 2016, after being reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Wang Sufang, 76, was released at around 11:00 p.m., after police had extorted 1,000 yuan from her.
Ms. Zhao Yalun, who was once sentenced to a five year prison term for her faith in Falun Gong, escaped while the police were searching for her house key. She had thrown it into a trash can to prevent them from ransacking her home. The police later found the key and confiscated her Falun Gong books, computers, printers, and 15,000 yuan in cash.
Ms. Liu Shuyan, Ms. Yang Chunyan, and Ms. Yu were each given 15 days of detention.
Another practitioner, Ms. Li Xiaolin, was arrested on November 10 for inquiring about the above practitioners' situation. She was also given a 15 days of detention.
Ms. Zhao Xiuli was arrested on August 11, 2016, and is facing a trial for filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime. She holds Jiang responsible for her arrests and detention.
Ms. Zhao is a seamstress and owns her business. She credits Falun Gong for curing her stubborn skin disease and saving her marriage. She has never shied away from telling people that the persecution is wrong. She was detained many times and was sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2000.
Ms. Zhou Ailin was arrested while at work on June 13, 2016, and taken to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center.
Her daughter rushed back to China from Australia, but has been denied visits with her mother.
Ms. Zhou's latest arrest marks the eleventh time that she has been detained for refusing to renounce her faith in Falun Gong.
Mr. Wang Hongbin was sentenced to a nine year prison term on October 13, 2016, for refusing to renounce Falun Gong.
This is not the first time that the 46-year-old has been targeted for his faith. He was given one year of forced labor around 2000 and sentenced to ten years in prison in February 2003.
Ms. Lu Jiarong, Ms. Liang Jun, and Mr. Bai Xueson disappeared around August 2, 2016. It took their families more than three weeks to find out that they had been arrested and were being held in the Qinhuangdao Detention Center.
The local Procuratorate and police have refused to provide a timetable on the case development. Existing Chinese law dictates that detainees be released if a formal arrest warrant is not issued within two months of the arrest.
Guan County Court held a retrial for Ms. Ni Ruju on October 24, 2016, and sentenced her to a two year prison term.
The Liaocheng Intermediate Court held a hearing around November 10, where they upheld the conviction by Guan County Court.
