(Minghui.org) Recently, I ran into some practitioners from out of town. I was deeply inspired by their cultivation state and the way they clarify the facts about Falun Dafa to people.
Practitioner's Compassion
When I was waiting at a bus terminal near a large market, I saw a well-dressed lady who appeared to be in her 70s. She was talking to two elderly men about Falun Dafa.
Then, she moved to where I was sitting and started clarifying the facts to me. I was happy to meet a fellow practitioner who was not from my hometown, and was deeply moved by her kindness and sincerity.
After talking with me, she walked towards a middle-aged woman, who was playing with her mobile phone. A seven or eight-year-old boy was sitting next to her.
The elderly practitioner started to clarify the facts to the woman. The woman looked up, ignored the practitioner and continued to play with her phone. She gestured that she was not interested in listening. The practitioner apologized for having bothered her, looked at the little boy kindly and left.
Suddenly I felt like I had gained a deeper understanding of the significance and inner meaning of clarifying the facts to people face to face.
The practitioner did not get upset when she was motioned away rudely. Instead, I saw in her eyes deep compassion for the woman. The practitioner's calmness and compassion touched my heart deeply.
610 Office Members Quit the CCP
Practitioner A and his family moved to this city a few years ago and the local 610 Office was not aware that he was a Falun Dafa practitioner.
His identity was made public when he filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime, for launching the persecution of Falun Dafa.
A group of 610 Office staff members from his hometown showed up at his door. He received them warmly.
He told them why he practices Falun Dafa, why his family members all support him and why he filed a criminal complaint against Jiang.
A few hours went by and some of the 610 staff members were moved to tears. They all learned the truth and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations before they left.
Personnel from the local 610 Office also went to see him. After he clarified the facts to them, they also left without causing any trouble.
Colleagues Protect Falun Gong Practitioner B
Practitioner B is a mid-level government official and a well-known doctor in her local area. She talks about Dafa and the persecution to all her patients, including local government officials and personnel from the local 610 Office.
Most people at her workplace have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations after they learned the facts.
She also takes every opportunity to clarify the facts to people that she runs into in her residential neighborhood, and everyone knows she is a practitioner.
After she filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the local 610 Office pressured her workplace to put pressure on her.
In a dignified manner, she told the young man who came to talk to her, “Don't get involved in this. It won't do you any good.”
She then went to the department in charge and calmly told the people there why she sued Jiang Zemin, as well as the unfair treatment that she had suffered because of her belief. She was passed over for promotion, and her salary was way lower than what she should get, given her education and experience.
Leaders in that department listened to her quietly and they never bothered her again.
Later, the local 610 Office registered all Falun Gong practitioners who had filed criminal complaints against Jiang.
When her colleagues heard about this, one of them said, “If they come and ask us where you live, we'll tell them: We don't know!” Another one said, “But, I know the phone number you no longer use, don't I?” Everyone burst out laughing.
Harmonizing What Master Wants
Articles on the Minghui website about how fellow practitioners in the countryside validate the Fa always touch my heart deeply. I have met some practitioners from rural areas. They are so down-to-earth and kindhearted.
As soon as they finish with their farm work, they participate in many projects to validate the Fa, be it working on a computer, or other tasks that require physical or technical commitment. They hang up banners, distribute Dafa informational materials, or talk to people face to face.
They effectively harmonize what Master wants with the wisdom they have gained from Dafa.
I felt deeply that Dafa disciples are one body. Although we live in different areas and may even have some language barriers due to different dialects, we cultivate and enlighten in the same Fa and share the same aspirations and responsibilities. They inspire me to be more diligent in cultivation.
