(Minghui.org) Four Dalian City residents were recently taken to Liaoning Women’s Prison for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.
Ms. Zhang Wenhong was arrested on August 19, 2015 and later sentenced to 3 years in prison. She was transferred to the prison on September 27, 2016.
Ms. Xu Xiuyun was arrested on October 20, 2015 and later sentenced to 4 years in prison. Her appeal was denied, and she was taken to prison on July 12, 2016.
Ms. Gao Fuling and Ms. Ge Peiying were arrested together on February 27, 2015. They were tried on August 5 of the same year and sentenced to prison months later. Ms. Gao was given 4 years and Ms. Ge 3 years. They were admitted to prison on August 23, 2016.
