(Minghui.org) I felt uneasy when seeing the Minghui Notice titled “Shen Yun Performing Arts to Stop Providing DVDs to China This Year.” Besides regret, I delved more so into the seriousness of Dafa cultivation.
My first thought after reading the notice was, “If we do not treasure the opportunities provided by Master Li to disciples, we would not be able to make up for the loss.
Refusal to Pay Attention to Minghui Notices
Master said,
“...on important matters, practitioners must pay attention to the attitude of Minghui Net.” (“Notice: A Second Authentic New Article of Master Li Since July 22, 1999 Will Be Published in a Few Days”)
Some practitioners do not pay attention to the Minghui notices because they believe in their subconscious mind, “Fellow practitioners involved with the Minghui website are also practitioners, and these notices are not what Master Li has announced.” Such a thought holds many human attachments. In fact, their attitude towards the Minghui website reflects attachments, such as pride and prejudice.
Master Li mentioned in one of his articles the importance of Falun Dafa cultivation experience sharing conferences and said not to present anything that could be misconstrued. Some practitioners are keen at giving speeches. Even today, there are personal speeches distributed in some areas that were given during conferences, Some are far from what is required by Dafa.
Master said,
“So for all of you, saving sentient beings is your responsibility and your historic mission, and it is something at once both monumental and grueling.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Greater New York International Fa Conference” in Teaching the Fa at the Conference IX)
Pretending to Looking Inward
Some practitioners have not let go of the fear attachment and dare not step out to raise awareness of the persecution. They arrange their daily schedule based on their own notions and are not diligent in cultivation.
Master Li said, “Whenever you encounter problems you should each look inward to search for the cause within, regardless of whether you’re to blame or not.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Europe”)
Many fellow practitioners do not set strict requirement for themselves, although they talk about looking inward. Actually, they look for external reasons when faced with problems. They only realize that it is their attachment when they meet with bigger problems.
How much do we understand Master Li's compassionate intentions? As disciples, we should neither think or speak what Master Li does not ask of practitioners. We should carry out everything that Master Li asks of us.
Do Not Point Fingers
For the duplication and distribution of Shen Yun DVDs in China, the Minghui website publishes important notices every year. Yet, there are issues every year. The reason is that some practitioners do not set strict requirements for their cultivation, but act based on their own preferences and thoughts.
As fellow practitioners, we should not point fingers and investigate who is responsible for this. But we must face the issue now and think about it to learn a lesson. What act resulted in the cancellation of Shen Yun DVDs to China?
The Fa-rectification is going to conclude. How many fellow practitioners can act as asked and follow the Fa in every thing and at every moment? How much regret would we have if that day of conclusion comes? Please treasure every opportunity in our cultivation and deal with every issue firmly.
