1. [Huichun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Xilian Sentenced

Ms. Li Xilian was sentenced to three-and-a-half-year in prison on January 15, 2016. She is still held in the Yanji City Detention Center.

2. [Jinxian County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Li Fanglan and Ms. Deng Youlian Detained

Ms. Li Fanglan, 59, and Ms. Deng Youlian, 58, of Lidu Town, Jinxian County, were arrested for speaking up for Falun Gong on January 26, 2016. Officers from the Jinxian Police Department took them to the Jinxian Detention Center.

3. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Two practitioners were arrested for handing out Falun Gong informational brochures in the morning on January 28, 2016. The practitioner who is over 80 was released that night. The other, Ms. Yu Cuihua, who is over 60, is still in police custody.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Haikuan Arrested

Mr. Liu Haikuan was arrested on January 29, 2016.

5. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Juyue Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Yang Juyue, a senior citizen from the Wenhua District, Zhaoyuan City, was harassed. Six officers from the Luofeng Police Station broke into her home on January 28, 2016. They questioned her about her criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. They later ransacked her home and confiscated 6,000 yuan, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.

6. [Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Five Practitioners Arrested and Three Detained

Ms. Wang Shuangchun, Ms. Tang Huafeng, Ms. Zheng Jianmei, Ms. Cheng Xiande, and Ms. Liu Zengfang were arrested on January 25, 2016. Ms. Wang was taken to the Qi County Prison, while Ms. Tang and Ms. Zheng were taken to the Maoerling Women's Prison. Ms. Chen and Ms. Liu were released for health reasons.

7. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Weiqing Detained

Mr. Zhang Weiqing of Xianning City was arrested on December 31, 2015. He was taken to the Hubei Brainwashing Center, and then transferred to the Xian'an District Detention Center. Family visits were denied.

8. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Guihong Arrested

Mr. Wang Guihong was arrested in the morning on January 28, 2016, by officers from the Pingyuan County Police Department and 610 Office.

9. [Beijing] Mr. Ma Jinghua Arrested and Ms. Gao Xiuqing Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Ma Jinghua was arrested in the Tongzhou District on January 21, 2016, by officers from the Zhangjiawan Police Station.

It is not known what happened to Ms. Gao Xiuqing. Her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Tianjin] Mr. Yan Jinrong Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Two dozen officers from the Nankai Police Department, the Guangkai Police Station, and the Neighborhood Committee went to Mr. Yan Jinrong's home in the afternoon on January 26, 2016. They questioned Mr. Yan about his lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and arrested him. They ransacked his home and confiscated his notebook computer, a printer, Falun Gong books, 17,000 yuan, and other personal belongings.

11. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Update on Ms. Li Yuhua, Ms. Wang Aixiang, and Mr. Zheng Chunrong

Ms. Li Yuhua and Ms. Wang Aixiang were each sentenced to three-and-a-half-years in prison in September 2015. They appealed, and the higher court upheld the original sentences. They are incarcerated in the Weifang Detention Center. Mr. Zheng Chunrong, who was arrested at the same time, was sentenced, but put on probation.

12. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Liu Lala Again Arrested

Ms. Liu Lala, 75, was arrested and taken to the city detention center on January 26, 2016, by officers from the Huifeng Police Station.

This was her second arrest within six months. She was also arrested for handing out Falun Gong informational fliers in July 2015. Her home was ransacked. She was released on bail.

13. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Guangxian Detained

Ms. Zhang Guangxian was arrested for giving out Falun Gong informational DVDs in the morning on January 26, 2016. She was held for several days in the Naxi Detention Center.

14. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Zeping Arrested

Mr. Zhang Zeping of Tangshan City was arrested on January 29, 2016, by officers from the Lubei Domestic Security Division. The officers ransacked his home. He is still in custody.

15. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Shisheng and Ms. Zhao Xiumei Arrested

Mr. Yu Shisheng and Ms. Zhao Xiumei from Kanxia Village, Yuanshang Town, Laixi City, were arrested in Sanqupu Village on January 28, 2016, for hanging posters about the criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin. They are held in the Rizhuang Police Station.

Ms. Ding Shengge of Shizhuang Village, Ren County, was arrested for speaking up for Falun Gong on January 25, 2016. Ren County Domestic Security Division officers ransacked her home the same day. They confiscated her notebook computer, printer, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings. They interrogated her and tortured her to extract a confession. One of her teeth came loose from the beatings. She has been held in the detention center since the day after her arrest.

Ms. Wu Limei and Mr. Zhi Haihua were arrested in the Dangyu Town open market on January 29, 2016, for speaking up for Falun Gong and collecting signatures on a petition that called for filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. Dangyu Police Station officers transferred them to the Zunhua City Domestic Security Division that afternoon. They are held in the Zunhua City Detention Center.

21. [Qianjiang City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Three practitioners from the Jianghan Oil Field were arrested for speaking up for Falun Gong in Longwan Town on January 7, 2016. They were Ms. Xia Xiaofen, over 70; Ms. Ding Guohong, over 70; and Ms. Ding Xiangqin, over 50. Officers from the Jinxiong Police Station in Xiongkou Town arrested them and took them to the Xiangyang Police Station, where they were interrogated. They were released that night. Their homes were ransacked.

They were arrested again on January 8, 2016, and incarcerated for eight days in a remote police station.
