(Minghui.org) I recently heard that Falun Dafa practitioners in our area were selling “superior” products, said to have been developed by a “scientist,” who is supposedly a Dafa practitioner with a “special mission.” This person claims that whoever gets involved with the marketing and promotion of these products can help change human society and save the human race.

The sellers told practitioners that they no longer needed to let people know about Falun Dafa or the persecution, as selling these products would suffice.

Although this information hasn’t been spread on a large-scale, several practitioners have actually resigned from their jobs and dedicated their time to help sell these products. They are also promoting them among practitioners.

Practitioners who use and sell these products, please stop and think: Aren’t you cultivators? Can you replace cultivation practice with these products? When you hear this sort of nonsense why do you believe it?

Aren’t those who go so far as to contribute money to finance this scheme being tempted by the prospect of monetary gain?

As cultivators, we're supposed to eliminate all of our human notions, clarify the facts, and save sentient beings. Has Master ever told us to save people by promoting products?

Master had this to say in answer to a practitioner’s question:

“Disciple: There are practitioners promoting pyramid schemes and direct sales products among practitioners, and they won’t listen to others’ well-intended suggestions [to stop].”

“Master: Whoever spreads among practitioners things unrelated to the Fa-rectification is interfering with Dafa disciples and damaging the form of Fa-rectification! The sin is bigger than that of demons. In the old forces’ words, it is more severe than what demons have done. That is truly causing harm. I have raised this question before: who can damage the cultivation form of Dafa disciples? Have external factors been able to damage it through persecution? They have only tempered Dafa disciples and made them mature, sifting out the sand. Who can really harm this cultivation group, or harm Dafa? No one can, as experience has shown. As I’ve said, that is how things are, and those who are interfered with are people with attachments—but nothing can damage the Fa. Only people within the group can have an adverse effect. Whoever does these things is not a Dafa disciple, so don’t regard him as a Dafa disciple no matter how long he has cultivated for.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2014 San Francisco Fa Conference”)

When this person claims to be on a “special mission,” it is nothing but the result of their attachment to showing off and being different.

We really should reflect on why this is happening and why there are practitioners who would give it a platform.

Practitioners who are actively involved, or wish to participate in this scheme are still not practicing with their hearts solidly on the Fa.

Master said:

“Without knowing the Fa at high levels, one cannot practice cultivation. Without cultivating one’s inner self and one’s xinxing, one cannot increase gong.” (Zhuan Falun)

Let’s all put our hearts on studying the Fa and on diligent cultivation. Let’s hope that those practitioners will promptly stop all activities that are not in accordance with the Fa, and try to recoup the losses they’ve brought upon themselves and others.
