(Minghui.org) During the process of clarifying the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution to people, I have often come across some undesirable attitudes. Some of the people I spoke with, though I talked to them in a very reasonable way, still had a negative view of Falun Dafa.
To solve the problem, I worked hard to gather more supportive documentation and improve my state of mind and tone of voice. However, the problem persisted, which puzzled me very much.
In my office, I used every opportunity to tell my colleagues about the benefits of the practice. However, some of them not only disagreed with Dafa, but they also supported the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of the practice.
Over time however, I noticed that they were gradually changing. Eventually, my colleagues were able to see the true face of the CCP, and the goodness of Dafa. Their slow and steady changes encouraged me to try to understand what had brought about these changes of heart. I later realized that my colleagues were touched more by my day-to-day behavior than my efforts to clarify the truth to them.
I did everything in line with Dafa in my workplace. I always performed my job very well, helped others solve their problems, and never complained. My good work ethics and caring heart impressed my colleagues and became the foundation of their improved attitudes toward Dafa.
I think that if every Falun Dafa practitioner could truly discipline himself or herself and behave well, we would have a better environment to save people. As Master said:
The majority of people in our school will practice cultivation in ordinary human society, so you should not distance yourself from ordinary human society and you must practice cultivation with a clear mind. The relationships among one another should remain normal. Of course, you have a very high xinxing level and an upright mind. You will upgrade your own xinxing and your own level; you do not commit wrongdoing and only do good deeds—these are only such a manifestation. (Zhuan Falun)
When people see the goodness of Dafa through what we do, they will naturally come to understand the evil nature of the CCP. By following the requirements for a cultivator, we are validating Dafa among ordinary people in society.
If we practitioners cultivate ourselves well and behave as one body, we will naturally form a positive environment in everyday human society where we can effectively clarify the truth and save people. In this way, more people will come to understand what Dafa is, and respect Dafa. As a result, they will head towards a bright future. Just as Master wrote:
“When people show the appropriate respect and reverence toward Dafa as it manifests here in this world, they, their race, or their nation will enjoy blessings or honor.” (“On Dafa” from Zhuan Falun)
On the other hand, if we cannot behave well and harbor many human notions and attachments, ordinary people will misunderstand Dafa and miss their chance to be saved. Their future is in our hands.
